 + -1 moreI found David to be very sincere and a pleasure to work with. He provided a very detailed proposal. The big problem was that his proposed cost was more than 2 times that of the other 3 bids I received. He works on "openbook" - cost plus 17.6%. The higher quote seems to come from extra charges (e.g., supervisory labor) and an inability to accurately estimate actual costs.
