Bay State Leisure Homes was established in 1979 on the lovely island of Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. Since then, Bay State has grown to a full service company that offers the very best of home renovations, restorations, and new construction. Our goal is to provide professional service at an affordable price. At Bay State, we believe in the personal touch. The job went extremely well.  Chris Priore, the owner, is an intelligent and hard worker.  The work was done well and promptly. It was what I asked for and was reasonably priced.

The job went extremely well. Bay State was prompt, efficient and gave great value. Chris Priore, the owner, is a stickler for quality. On the few occasions when his guys did something that he didn't think was well done, he made them rip it out and start over. (He didn't know I was looking). Chris is also a good planner and problem solver. He would regularly foresee upcoming staging issues and have a plan in place so that the work did not slow down. Also, there were problems on a number of occasions for which he came up with great work-arounds. One example: Our previous contractor had miscalculated the two planes of the porch roof so that they were not going to join correctly and would look terrrible. Chris thought on it and came up with a clever use of molding to hide the defect. The Bay State guys were on the job every day cranking out the work and finished on schedule. We were very pleased with the end result.
