This was our first experience using Angie's List to locate a reliable provider for a job at our residence. Initially, Terry responded promptly via phone and in person. We accepted his estimate and expected the work to be completed in a timely manner. All was done verbally, nothing was done in writing.
Unfortunately, our job was not treated with the priority we hoped for. Terry never gave us an exact date work would be done on or by and said he would stop by when possible between other jobs and weather.
We understand weather affects landscaping jobs and this was reasonable for us.
Terry did show up one day, did not announce himself at all, just started loading up some brush onto the back of a pickup truck. I walked down to introduce myself (as my husband had originally met him in person). When I asked when he would be back to get the other piles, again, weather was sited as a reason that some time might pass before his next pickup/removal.
After a week or two with no contact I called and left a message with no response. I called again about a week after that with no response (it was the correct number both times). I said we were looking forward to having the job completed, hoped everything was okay and if we didn't hear from him in the next few days we would assume he no longer was willing or able to complete the job. We never heard back, we still have the brush piles in our yard.
We still hope everything is okay, we understand that sometimes projects get overlooked, but we will not be using this provider in the future.
