Very professional service.

A while back I was stupid enough to leave an opened bottle of GooGone on my best carpet while using it to clean some tape residue off a chair. Naturally, it was in the center of the rug, and it tipped over spilling about an ounce of it into the carpet. I did manage to sop most of it up and prevent a permanent stain. Panic turned into relief. Three days later I notice ripples in that one area. It looked awful, I had to try to see if it could be stretched back to normal. I went online to find someone and decided to give Angi a try since it wasnâ t costing me anything. They told me I would be receiving calls within a day or so from local people of whom they support their work. They were telling the truth, I received at least 3 calls from people who appeared professional and helpful, 2 being from 30 mins. out of town. Kevin of KC Professional Flooring was the first to call but had to leave a message when I couldnâ t answer the phone. Before I could call him back, I received another call from someone who, at the time, was nearby and could stop by without a service call fee. He was excellent in his service to me, offering his best, honest advice about the damage done to the carpet, but felt he couldnâ t repair it. The GooGone is a solvent, and while I got the stain out, over those 3 days it ate away the lamination underneath. I was in a lot of despair at that time and felt it was a hopeless situation. Out of desperation I decided to return Kevinâ s call and see what he thought. Always get a second opinion, right? Kevin answered the phone, and after a short explanation, he knew exactly what it was and said he could repair it. I was thrilled to hear that. Within an hour after his arrival, he and his assistant had the carpet fixed as good as new for not much money. He did a fantastic job. I even had him re-stretch another carpet in the house. Before he left, he also replaced (3) hardwired smoke detectors for me and repaired a damaged stair. All for a very reasonable price. I canâ t recommend KC Professional Flooring (and Angi) enough for the work they did for me that day.

Jim from Advanced Carpet did a fantastic job! He was able to work my project into his schedule and he had me fixed up in no time. He had every tool under the sun, and even tolerated my stupid questions while he was working. He was able to stretch two rooms (to take a few “wakes” out of the carpet). It looks brand new now. I could not be happier. SUPER friendly and “knowledgeable”. I highly recommend.

Jim installed carpet in 4 bedrooms. He is a complete professional: courteous, works with special requests, and excellent craftsmanship, and very competitive quotes! He worked with me on installing carpeting on hardwood floors with minimal marks in the hardwood. I was very impressed with the results! Very highly recommended!

After much research for carpet installers, I contacted Advanced Carpet Installations through Home Advisor. Jim promptly returned my call and scheduled an appointment. His quote was quite reasonable, and he explained in detail the process for installing the new carpet. Jim was professional, friendly and informative, and it was obvious that he takes great pride in his work. He is extremely conscientious and respectful of your furniture and personal belongings. Jim completed my carpet installation in less than two days without a helper. 528 SF of carpet was replaced including stairs, and I am delighted with the results. On a scale of 1 to 10, Advanced Carpet Installations deserves a 12. However, the highest rating that Home Advisor has is 5, so that will have to suffice. From the initial contact to completion of the job, the service was outstanding. Jim worked quickly and efficiently. He is honest and trustworthy and just an overall nice guy, I believe that you would be extremely pleased utilizing Advanced Carpet Installations for your flooring needs. I would hire Advanced Carpet Installations again without hesitation, and I highly recommend their services.

Ten stars! I called Advanced Carpet Installations when the company who actually did my install would not help me. Jim returned my call very quickly and offered to come down the following day with his son to look at the carpet. Jim evaluated the area of wrinkled carpet, indicated that it could be fixed, quoted me a fair price and did the job the same day. Jim and Justin were meticulous in their work, carefully moved furniture and did a superb job of re-stretching the carpet, which now looks fabulous! I highly recommend.

We just replaced a portion of the carpet in our house, 700 sq ft including stairs. James with his son help did everything in less than two days and what a wander full job they did. The whole process, from choosing the carpet - samples were brought to our house few times at our request - to the estimate - very competitive against two other contractors - to preparation, installation and finally cleaning, the process went smooth and the work quality is excellent. It made my wife truly very happy!

Good experience with Jim stretching carpet after some initial failure to communicate

I thought I could buy a piece of carpet for our sun room and put it down by myself, big mistake, Jim came right over after I called and saved my sorry Axx before I made a big mess of it. He had the carpet installed for me in no time and at a great price. You just don't find service like that anymore. He's got my 5 Stars and my recommendation !!!
