DO NOT USE SEARS HOME SERVICES – My Kenmore Elite microwave oven has been broken for half a year. I have had four service visits with multiple technicians and from my experience it is clear they do not know how to repair the equipment and are simply guessing as to what the cause of the problem is. This company is only in the business of taking your money and hoping the parts they order will actually fix the problem. DO NOT WASTER YOUR MONEY. I highly recommend you find another company with qualified technicians that actually want to fix your problem, not just roll the dice and hope for the best. BUYER BEWARE!

Fine, not a super pleasant experience.

Sears repairman showed up on time, diagnosed the problem and set to correcting it right away. Freezer needed a new defrost sensor, which repairman had to go get, as he did not have specific part in his truck. Repair was completed, frost removed and refrigerator and freezer are functioning like new!

I didn't have any parts and it didn't even take them more than six minutes. So I paid 169 for him to come out just to plug it back in. I would never sign up for this company again. This is how they get you. He wanted me to sign a warranty to get a cheaper price. They haven't even gotten back to me since I called them. I could have had someone else come out for a quarter of the price. This place is horrible.

The give you a very good price, but you have to be there in person to let them in and make sure everything is okay. The water heater had to come in through the bulk head, so I had to go shovel out the bulk head.

The water heater had to come in through the bulk head, so I had to go shovel up a bulk head while other people would have come through the first floor, and then go downstairs, so Sears have a good price, but you have to be there.
