Pella Windows and Doors

Terrible experience and my last ever with Pella.  I must give some points to our sales rep who was kind and professional but the rest of the team could not keep a single promise he made. The original product was the wrong size, the onsite foremen made a mess of the project by putting the window in off center. Overall workmanship and details of the the installation, the molding installation and the aesthetic of the finished product were far below expectation and they crew left a mess in my front yard that I had to clean up.  The right window was ordered but I was told it was going to take over a month and a half to get the new on in.  This was unacceptable, It took several calls and emails to management and i had to threaten and cajole them with a report to the MA Atty Generals office before they moved the re-installation date up (slightly). Second installation they sent their "best' guy to run the project.  He did a noticeably better job but still incomplete and he failed to caulk the gaping holes left after the ill fitting window was removed.  I finally finished the work myself realizing it was not worth the extraordinary aggravation of continuing to deal with Pella. It is a good window but we could have gotten a comparable product installed correctly for much less aggravation.  The Pella name was supposed to mean something and it clearly does not.  Quite possibly the worst case of "oversold and under delivered" I have ever seen. Never again!
