Hauling, Excavation
I was, overall, very happy with their work. However, I believe that they severely underbid the job. They caused some minor damage to a wood floor, but they reimbursed me for the damage.
Jeff gave me a price for the work after seeing the job. The walls and ceiling were already open, so the quantity of work was pretty clear. He gave me a price and estimated the work would take about a day, possibly a little longer. I accepted his bid, and work started shortly thereafter.
One crew showed up on the first day. At the end of the day, they said they would probably need another full day to finish. So, the crew came and worked a second day.
On the third day, they brought in a second crew and double-teamed through the morning. The main crew continued work until that evening, when they finally finished all of my punch list items.
All in all, they did what they were supposed to do, and were very responsive to my comments. When I found two dents in the wood floor, they called up the boss, and arranged for a price reduction on the job. It just took a lot longer than anticipated.
