I recently hired Bill to replace and upgrade my entire HVAC sytem. It was a large job with a bunch of variables, but it went smoothly and I?m very happy with the result.
Here?s what I had done:
Bill handled much of the installation but also had a deep bench of specialists (electrician, sheet-metal guy for vents, AC guy). It was immediately apparent they had worked together in the past which made me feel more comfortable. While I interfaced with them directly on occasion, Bill was always available if I had questions and coordinated the entire project.
I am already seeing substantial savings ($100+ monthy), and my house is more comfortable. Bill knows his stuff (worked both commercial and residential for many years), is patient (I asked a lot of questions), and fair (his quote matched or beat everyone else). I wouldn?t hesitate to hire him again, and will recommend him to my friends and family.
Here?s what I had done:
- Installed a high-effeciency tankless water heater
- Replaced my 25 year old furnace
- Installed a whole-house air-conditioning unit
- Added venting to basement for heat and fresh air-flow
- Installed an HVR system
- Installed a humidifier and air purifying (UV) system
- And finally, installed a Nest smart learning thermostat
