Daniel Healey Master Plumber

I have been emptying a pan from under the trap in my kitchen for about 2 years, with an unresponsive landlady. The evening of 4/17, I noticed that there was water on the kitchen floor in front of the sink. I looked and sure enough, there was now a 2nd leak where the pipe connects to the disposal. I contacted a former student of mine (a landlady herself), who had previously given me the name of a "great plumber," which I had misplaced. She gave me his number and said he was waiting for my call. I hadn't even finished reading her text message when my phone rang and it was Daniel. This was about 11:30 PM. When I told him what was happening and that we were not in imminent danger of floating away, he said he would be at my place at 7:30 the following morning. He arrived at 7:40 AM. He looked at the problem and started taking it apart, informing me the pipes were simply rotted and the disposal would need replacing as well. He went out for the parts and was back within an hour, installed the new disposal and pipes and charged me $275.00. I was very impressed with his speed, expertise and really reasonable rate! When I went out while he was working, I noticed that his business must be a family business, because it stated on his truck "since 1922." All of his license numbers were on the truck and he is a certified Master Plumber. He did not charge me to walk in the door: only for the services he performed and the parts he purchased. I recommend him highly!
