Building Ispectors Of America

First, I was told all their inspectors had at least a MA CSL in addition to inspector certifications. We had Dave as our inspector. He spent more than 4 hours with us. He arrived early and was completely thorough, including climbing up to the roof for a closer look & chimney inspection. He crawled into every nook & cranny where he had access. All the time he explained what he was looking for and giving suggestions for some possible cures for the problems he found. We are both from the construction industry and had looked at this house ourselves but Dave found more than we had seen, including moisture INSIDE a wall. When he finally got the fireplace damper to move, down fell a dead squirrel; he didn't even flinch. We were both impressed with his work and would hire him again if we attempt to buy another house.
