My old Steam Boiler had a ton of banging, was inefficient and one of the radiators didn't work. I did a ton of research and reached out to many steam heat plumbers.  Many of these plumbers charged for estimates, were backed up with work or just didn't want to take the time to explain how they do their work.

Bob was able to book me quickly so I could get a Mass Save rebate that was expiring at the end of October. He walked me through his process and made me feel comfortable with the quality of his work.  He fixed a pitch issue in the main pipe and raised up the cranky radiator.  My system is now silent! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a boiler replacement or other plumbing work.

He is excellent. We have used him for many years. He was just a young man starting out then. He is very dependable. He is knowledgeable about his service. He is very skillful in his service. He stays very current. Frequently he will do certifications that will help him to stay current with his work. So I would recommend him. We have several family members who use him as well, several friends and many community organizations will refer to him, and so he has a good name. He is very good. His price is very fair. He does very good work. My brother’s husband is a contractor, he builds homes and he will use Bob Gagnon and he builds homes that are high-end homes. They are in the two-million dollar range and he will make that his products are high end quality from a plumbing company. He doesn’t buy his parts from Lowe’s or other similar stores, he says invest in a couple of hundreds more so it will last longer. He will adjust to his customers; say if there are people who are renting units, where things might get abused some times, so he may not put a high end product there because he knows he would have to replace that more often. I think he is very fair that way and he looks at the situation. He is not cheap but he gets the job done right. One year we had a problem with our heater and he did call back within the hour, he came over and got us settled.
