Advanced Insulation Inc

ADVANCED INSULATION, INC showed sincere interest in explaining pro's and con's of fiberglass, blown cellulose, hard foam and soft foam systems in the estimating visit.  Pointed out special interest spots for homeowner to be aware of no matter who did the work.  Went over "R" values of various materials, air infiltration reduction importance versus compaction of cellulose or fiberglass, flexibility of soft foam versus hard foam in preventing cracking, water pass-thru for soft versus hard foam so roof leaks could be detected fixed before permanent roof wood damage, etc.   Declined consultation fee I offered (that some others did take) for all the decision-making info and general pro's / con's info provided during the estimate phase.   
ADVANCED INSULATION, INC. provided three references with names and phone numbers.  I contacted all three via phone and/or email.  All the references had great good things to say about ADVANCED INSULATION, INC.  Here, the walls were open to the bare studs and siding.  New sheetrock ceilings and one wall had to be installed - and ADVANCED INSULATION, INC. was up-front with what needed to happen before they or anyone arrived.  So it wasn't the drill holes in siding / squirt in the foam technique.
ADVANCED INSULATION, INC. arrived precisely when requested, after I had postponed them twice due to electrical touch-up required by Town inspector.   They were OK with me adding 40% more to area on short notice.  No complaints, problems or extra cost required.  Easy to work with.
ADVANCED INSULATION, INC. properly masked all non-sprayed work areas and covered new windows.   They cleaned up a lot of mess from spraying / trimming, using the plastic sheeting as containers for the foam shaved off flush with studs and rafters.   These "sausages" all went back into truck except for small am't into dumpster I had on site for other purposes.
I provided extension ladder, and they accessed house there for hoses.  I provided front door / stairs for personnel access.  I provided upstairs bathroom as needed. 
They cleaned up excess so sheetrocker should have minimal issues following after them. 
They were fine with me taking pictures during the work.   They were up-front with safety considerations for those in the work area.  They wore proper Personal Protective Equipment.  
In summary, they did a good job in a timely manner pretty much as advertised.    We'll see if we get the expected energy savings / oil consumption reduction.
