"Thank you [Member Name Removed]. You were so delightful and easy going to create a colorful garden. Your ideas were spot on and made the garden flow even more evenly. It was so much fun to burry the dead toasted lawn with 6 inches of new soil. The best part was laying out and then planting 130 perennials and 9 shrubs in two days. Thank you so much letting us work our magic!!!"
"Thank you for your review. We are happy that you loved your Greenleafs experience. Thank you Rich the owner of Greenleafs"
"Hi [Member Name Removed], I saw an Angie's List Review from you so I thought to write what happened from my company's view. The office received a call at around noon in early April about a tree that fell on a house and it was decided to send out our estimator to look at the tree. She determined that a crane was needed instead of just a log truck. A log truck cost and employees would have been $2400. The crane would be more. The crane crew was working in the area and unfortunately, that morning the crane operator said he had his own storm work for the afternoon. Therefore, Rich called the client and said the crane crew had commitments this afternoon. After the last Greenleaf crane job was completed, the crew was briefed on the storm damage nearby and decided to stop their other plans for the day and to help the client. Rich called the client and he said that he found a company to help. The numbers for storm damage insurance estimates for each machine or man-hour that Greenleafs uses for storm work are usually accepted by adjusters. Sometimes they ask to move numbers around, though they think the total matches up with other companies. The estimate is broken down by machine hour and their individual hourly rate. At times, an adjuster asks that there is an adjustment for the cost of the debris removal. I should have only charged $800 for my crew since it was only going to take 2 hours instead of $1600. Then the total for the job would have been $3,300 instead of $4,100. Northeast's price I think was $3,000 Each machine is billed at 4-hour intervals, the crane, and the 4-man crew, removal of the debris and the log truck with the option of the insulated bucket truck. The owner of Northeast Tree, Jim Fitzpatrick is a very good friend of mine. We talk frequently during the summer when he is back from his winter vacation. Northeast Tree is a family business, which owns three cranes and all their equipment. Since Greenleafs is a small company, I need to hire three sub-contractors, the crane operator, log truck operator and climber. Therefor my prices are higher than a company who owns all their equipment. I'm sorry that you felt let down by my company's pricing and I hope this letter helps explain it. Thank you Rich Gambale Owner of Greenleaf's Tree Service."
