Everything went as planned. This is the first review that I have written because I was shocked by the other reviews. The work I had done is beautiful and professional. Would definitely use again.

There were delays. The delays went on for months. They tried to charge extra over the estimate. They seem to forget that we paid 50% upfront. And now after 6 months the main piece, an antique table, again has cracks in the table top.

Had to send back the table for restaining as it did not match the pedistals. In the end the leaf did not match the rest of the table and they inflated the price $300 over the estimate.

Belcastro refinished and repaired a desk that had been kept in a basement for decades. They've seen it all, so they dated the piece, knew the type of wood, recommended repairs, and offered a no-pressure choice of services and prices. They were always available throughout the process, and wanted my input on proper coloring and repair types. The result was amazing and looks better than anything I could have bought from Pottery Barn or any other high-end retailer.
