The work went very well . the young man was pleasant and did a good job but the cost was $463. before a $50. coupon fo work over $400 and because he got blue dye on the bathroom wall. I thought that was pricey and for that reason alone I will never call this company again.463.00

Went well. Had to come back to fix a drip inside on connection for outside faucet. Fixed it quickly & replaced leaky connection with a new shutoff valve for no charge

I got three estimates from local places to install an AC condenser and they were the least expensive. Peter came to my house for the free estimate and was really great explaining my options and gave me 3 options to pay. He gave me a quote onsite! The other 2 did not. They scheduled me quickly and installed everything in a timely manner. I did have an issue after the installation of not being able to use the "Fan Only" option but they quickly came out and fixed it at no charge to me. My house is nice and cold now. Do yourself a favor and give them a call. I highly recommend them!

I cannot praise Al and his team enough! I was caught in a tough situation and Al came to my rescue during these Covid-19 tough times. The guys that came to do the job Sammy and his coworker were very professional, and did an amazing job. Our project was building a new laundry room at a condominium here in Methuen, MA. While I am the FIRST owner to build a laundry room inside my unit with the approval of my HOA, my downstairs neighbor kept saying that it was illegal. The job Al Fagundes plumbing did, passed with flying colors, and I have a laundry room. THANK YOU!!!?

We had to replace our Heating Oil furnace and the team at Fagundes did a great job. Within a day or reaching out to them, Mark came over to provide a detailed quote. He was quick and responsive with a few follow up questions that I had and made adjustments to the work. I did obtain a few quotes from other companies and while Fagundes weren't the cheapest, their pricing was competitive! My big concern was to get the replacement done before the cold weather sets in and Fagundes was able to schedule me quickly. On the day of the install, Nick and Ron arrived right on time and they were thorough and professional with the install. They were happy to answer questions that I had and cleaned up after they were done. The experience overall went very well and I'll happily recommend them to my family and friends!

I worked with Peter from A. Fagundes Plumbing & Heating to get my initial combi boiler + heater quote, and then with Steve and his team to get it installed. I had a great experience and would highly recommend them. Peter explained all my options very thoroughly and worked to find the right solution for my budget, space constraints, and water usage needs. Steve was extremely professional, finished when they said they would, and cleaned up even more than I expected. The final installation looks shiny & new and best of all, no more cold showers in the morning. The backoffice even worked with me to submit my MassSave rebate, so I didn't have to mess with that paperwork. I wish all vendor interactions were like this.

not good. asked to replace furnace

Problem with boiler. It stopped working and was blowing cool air. Called for service. First visit, said nothing was wrong and charged $90. Problem continued. Called again. Second visit, change igniter and charged 600$ Problem persisted. Called again. Returned to clean the system. Waived fee when I complained. Problem continued, so we got in touch again. Responded " This is high tech, could be several problems, we can try different things but we cannot guarantee we can fix the problem." They should have told me this from day one before spending 700$. It could be from 100 to several thousand dollars with no guarantee that the problem will be fixed. Serviced the unit one year ago with this company and it was all ok, no problems at all. Last two emails, no response from this company.

I just moved into this home. The furnace and the A/C are working well. But I want to give them a check to make sure things are actually good. I saw there is a Gold One service plan of $199 that includes a check/tuning and thought that’s not bad. Then when the technician came in today, he said $199 is just for a one time check for a single equipment, Furnace or A/C bit not both. He suggested me to go for a $299 Gold Two plan that includes two visits for two equipments, aka, four times better. I said OK and then he started to do the check. Half an hour later when I already on my way to work he called me and said it will cost $542 to take care of a bunch of “repairs”. My $199 or $299 dream was bursted. What else can I do other than accepting the ever increasing price? — Well that’s not done yet. Just now (11pm) I found my water heater is not producing hot water! I called them and was promised a call back soon. One hour later now, there’s none. I decided to check it myself and found the a knob is in the suspicious Pilot position. I tried to turn it to ON following online suggestions. Fingers crossed I can take a hot water bath today. Folks, this is what I have experienced from this company. Do not repeat my mistake!

Al is professional and efficient in his business, by far an improvement over the others we contacted. He worked through the options as he inspected my 60+ year old boiler and was knowledgeable about each of the different furnace makers. Mike was delightful to work with- he paid close attention to the details of the installation and kept me informed of each step when the team was at my house. This was a lengthy, dirty, heavy process, but we're glad we selected Fagundes.

I called A. Fagundes Plumbing & Heating as a new customer. The person on the phone was descriptive of their process for assessing the work I was requesting, including the assessment charge (which would be waived if I went ahead with the work). The technicians (Sammy and a helper) arrived on time, reviewed what work I wanted done and provided several options (different prices for additional preventative maintenance and length of warranty). I thought the price was a bit high for the work I wanted done, but was in line with other plumbers in the area. During their time in my home, they were courteous and professional. They left each work area clean and debris free. Before leaving, they reviewed each repair, installation and maintenance procedure they conducted. I would hire them again in the future.

The crews that did the work in our house (to sum it up) were excellent. Very professional and well mannered to deal with. The work took 3 full days, but they spent time explaining what they were doing along the way. My wife and I cannot say enough good things about these workers. The work has only been completed for a few days now, so assuming there are no problems, we would highly recommend A. Fagundes plumbing.

We needed our boiler replaced immediately. Fagundes Plumbing & Heating Inc scheduled us right away and completed the service quickly and professionally. Their employees were all extremely easy to work with, professional and knowledgeable.

They ran a gas line out from my meter to the back patio for a grill setup. The installation seemed to go well and passed inspection, work looks professional. No issues with punctuality really except things got hung up waiting for the town inspector to respond and I ended up needing to chase this down which is something I thought maybe they would do.

Let me start this with some solid praise for Al, Sam and the team at A Fagundes. My furnace was down for a couple of days over new years and new years eve and given this cold snap, not a single local company had the bandwidth to take on new customers. After calling no less than 15 different companies, A Fagundes and team took us on. Sam, their second in command, came by and fixed some old hatchet wiring work. He noticed the heat exchange had cracked and was seeping small amounts of CO into the vents. The furnace pre-dated my purchase of the house (well over 12 years) so we agreed it was time to look at a new furnace. Al, the owner, came out, sized out the proper BTUs and we settled on a Maytag 2 stage, pushing 60,000 BTUs. I have a split level ranch, so more than enough to heat and cool. He found a slot for me on Friday morning. His team showed up, they were professional quick and had it installed and up in running in no time. Moral of the story here is simple: when you're in a bind, Al and team will do everything they can to step up and win your business; new customer or not.

It did go well and after the tune-up our house got much warmer.

Summary: If you have oil furnace trouble, save yourself time, frustration and lots of money and call someone else. Here's the interaction: Tuesday: Called with no Heat (Furnace would not light) W-F: Received daily call from scheduler stating that they had not forgotten me but that the technicians were still busy. (It was a busy time of year, I appreciated this customer service and understood that others were similarly without heat.) Monday: Technician finally arrived. Stated that burner motor was bad (confirming my suspicions) and asked for $448 to replace (I declined planning to replace the motor myself and paid $95 visit fee). I asked for the replacement part number (assuming that might be part of the $95 visit fee) and technician stated that he could not share it. Read motor specs off of existing motor and ordered a replacement on my own. (This would be quite frustrating on it's own- if the $95 service didn't include telling me what part number needed replacing what did it include?) Tuesday: Motor arrived from amazon with 1 Day Shipping ($65). 26 minutes later (timed by stopwatch), new motor was in place and burner reassembled (by me). Apparently the Fagundes technician hourly rate is $883 ( (Service charge - cost of parts) / Time to complete job). Ouch! If this experience stopped here, I would be frustrated with the $448 service fee they had tried to charge me. However... Motor was not the problem, the new motor behaved exactly as the old one (which it turns out was just fine). So, had the technician replaced my motor for the $448 fee, he would then have learned that it wasn't the problem (in hindsight, a 5 minute test would have told me or him as much). If I am expected to pay $448 for a repair this would not remotely satisfy the general competence I would have expected. A few more diagnostics on my part... and after replacing the burner control ($68 from Home Depot) my furnace runs just fine. If the experience ended here, I would be extremely frustrated with Fagundes, however... Wednesday: Called Fagundes to complain about overall experience. They answered promptly, and were unapologetic about the experience and in absolute denial that there was a competence issue. Final summary: Fagundes was responsive and repeatedly called me back to let me know that they were busy. I appreciate this, and when we finally made it to the top of the service list, they were punctual. However, general incompetence, outrageous prices and unapologetic customer disservice do not overcome their strengths at all.

It went well. It was expensive, but they were responsive and got the job done without dragging it out for us. Steve was a big help, explained what we needed done and why it needed to be done. A lot of the cost was associated with fixing the improper installation of our tankless system done by a previous plumber.

Excellent service.

Very clean and excellent job. I will surely hire them for any major work in the future. It has been almost 3 years using that water heater and absolutely no complaints. The system was installed in a closet in a bedroom and whenever I walk in and look at the installation I admire the work to this date. The only issue is that they are a tad expensive, and hence for smaller and easier cookie cutter jobs, I will either try to do myself or choose someone less expensive.
