I returned home from Thanksgiving to find that our house was 44 degrees Fahrenheit. I went down to checkout the furnace and noticed that the error code light was flashing. Before calling Preferred, I called both Morris and Wilkins. Morris was not taking any new customers and Wilkins couldn't get a technician out for about a week. Preferred allowed me to select a window over the next 24 hours and called me a half an hour before arriving. Patrick, was courteous and did a great job of explaining what needed to be fixed before attempting the repair. Once the repair was completed he also offered a maintenance, which I gladly accepted, since our furnace hadn't been serviced in more than two years. Anyway, the repair of the capacitor and the maintenance came in under $300.00, which seemed reasonable to me.

We have used Preferred Air for several years and they are highly professional and flexible to customer needs. This installation was for a system that most of the crew had not worked with before and there were a few things to figure out, but they really stuck to it and everything works perfectly. The main thing is that all the workers and technicians are honest and tell you upfront when things are challenging or need to be figured out. They all work incredibly hard, from Tom, Bob and Leo in the front office to all the techs and mechanics in the field. As a result we have not had any problems with either of the heating and A/C systems they have installed and we buy the maintenance agreement to ensure things go smoothly all year.

This was the first time that we used Preferred Air. It will not be the last. They were excellent. All the company personnel were very responsive, polite and professional. The service tech arrived promptly, immediately put on booties to protect our floor and carpeting, explained in detail what he was going to do with our system, cleaned up after himself and prepared the invoice for me to pay on the spot. Excellent service!! We were very impressed and highly recommend Preferred Air.

The professionalism displayed by their onsite rep was just fantastic.  He communicated at every step, leverage iphone photo's to explain situation/work in action and had ipad communication of costs in real time for us to sign off on as the homeowner.    Best service experience we have had in years.

Overall and excellent installer, before, during and after the installation.  I got 5 bids, and Preferred Air was the second cheapest, but was installing superior equipment.  I have nothing but the highest reviews for Preferred Air.  I've recommended them to anyone, and have seen them at my neighbor's house, based on my recommendation.  A+++++
