Contractor did not install siding correctly (this has been verified by several contractors since then) and lied about his insurance coverage (his business card stated that he was licensed and insured, but it seems that he canceled his insurance right before he began our job). He has refused all requests to repair deficiencies and it will cost us approximately $15,000 to have the siding removed and reinstalled/replaced. He only worked at the jobsite or supervised the work when the homeowner (me) or the GC was there, and left his crew unsupervised at other times. In addition, he was not happy with the price we negotiated, and during the project, a Jacuzzi tub in a crate was stolen from the jobsite when he was the only contractor working and had the only key.......... DO NOT HIRE BOB POLCARO - HE IS A LIAR AND HIS WORK IS SHODDY AND UNPROFESSIONAL.
