Maclellan Oil Co

Huge thanks to the guys at MacLellan Oil. We recently moved into a new house and were not aware how much oil was left in the tank, as it was difficult to read the gauge where the tank is. My wife called at about 4pm saying the heat wasnt working. I got home, and found out we were out of oil at about 4:45pm. MacLellan was the 2nd place I called, after I received after getting an answering service with the first. MacLellan answered right away, and I spoke with Jim who was incredibly helpful, took all the pertinent info, and put the order in for delivery first thing the next day. When I called again to confirm the next day, the office staff knew exactly the situation and assured me the driver was on the way. Great responsiveness and quick turnaround when we needed it most. Plus they honored the price on their website, even though we needed last minute delivery and were not regular customers. Will definitely use them again for our oil needs.

I found them to be very honest in regards to repairs on our boiler service. I am confident that the work that was done needed to be done, and that they knew what they were talking about. There were times that they came to check something that we thought was a problem, but it wasn't. They could have bilked us for charges, but they didn't. We had another company doing insulation and they were running checks on air quality in the house. Air quality in the house was not good. After we had the repairs made from Maclellan, the other company came back and did another check, and the air quality was fine. There was a measurable difference in air quality after the repairs. They are a little more pricey than most. They were always on time. I would use this company again.
