Jimmy'S Oil Co

Had been using this Oil company for 15 years. In the past few years we requested a few accomodations for our delivery. One was delivering after 8am in the morning. Second was not to park oil truck on a certain section of our driveway due to soft ground under said part of driveway and asphalt becoming compromised and concave. Also to clarify, they were stopping on this section of our driveway to service a neighbor's house, instead of using the neighbor's own driveway. The first request was met with strong resistance and no promises yet future deliveries came later in the morning as requested. Jimmy's Oil, Co. was unable to accomodate our 2nd request. Each driver was rude and claimed ignorance along with being new to the route. All bristled at having to move the truck off the soft and sinking driveway area. Unapologetic and argumentative always. The most recent driver told me "I was making his job harder." He was not even delivering oil to our house that day! Office staff (wife of the owner) rude and quite mean. I had requested over and over that they inform the route driver of our request and even that a note be attached to or adde d on our slip stating our request. I even had the owner come out and see exactly where the damage was and he seemingly agreed with us. Back at the office; Zero customer service; No accomodation. No consideration that we had been good customers who always paid on time and even used their oil burner cleaning serice. After two years of requesting them to not park on a certain part of our driveway to service our neighbor's house, because it was ruining our driveway we have finally dropped their service. When I called to state we'd found another service provider and to please remove us from their delivery schedule and properly destroy our credit card number on file, I was met again with a lack of professionalism and rude comments. I never thought our request/need was so far out of the ballpark. And I will never understand why they couldn't accomodate something so simple but important to us the homeowner. Calling to find another Home Heating Oil Delivery Service I realized too, that Jimmy's Oil Co. is currenly charging $.40 more a gallon than the new company we've taken on. I don't like being treated so poorly and then come to find out we've been paying way too much. Lesson learned and better for us. Good riddance to bad rubbish (or business as it may be)
