We got quotes from a total of 4 contractors whos prices ranged from approximately $7,000 - to approximately $12,000 to demo the pool. Of the group, Eand D was the most competively priced for the services to be rendered.
Of the group, my wife and I had the best feeling from Eand D regardless of the price in terms of a trustworthy individual. Eand D started very promptly when we requested and was able to finish the work within the quoted time-line without issue. I had called Eand D several times during the process with concerns and questions since we had never done anything like this. Every time Eand D was very respectful and reassuring. Phone was always picked up or messages returned promptly.
Eand D was very flexible and had no issues complying with minor additional requests. Eand D also called me before taking any actions that we had not already previously discussed (for example removal and disposal of pump).
Overall, I was very happy with the process and the results. Eand D is a comparably smaller operations with Ed doing the majority of the work himself. For us, this was great because we felt like the owner of the company would naturally be more vested in his work. We now have a nice backyard that will be amazing once we get the grass to grow. At no point during the process was I disappointed or otherwise unsatisfied with the work that Eand D had performed.
