Chris and his father Simon are terrific, will never call hunt for another painter again.

He was excellent. Initially it was just one room, that was the dining room, and then we liked what he did, so he did a really tricky staircase, and then a bedroom. It is an old house and he had a lot of repair work to do.

Let us say up front, we would hire CM Painting (Charlie) again (in fact we have another project pending for him). Dependable, easy to communicate with, great work and reasonable prices!

The estimate we requested was to paint the first floor of our home (8 rooms plus a large cathederal foyer). We received several quotes, CM's quote was amoung the lowest (one was twice as much) ... BUT, we did not hire CM Painting solely for the estimate, we also considered the complimentary feedback on Angie's List and our own impression of Charlie himself. He showed up right away to do the estimate and once hired, we were able to set a date to begin work.

Charlie did all the work himself (with a bit of help from his dad on the cathederal walls) . He was always pleasant, timely, professional, quiet and neat. He repaired all the holes and cracks in the walls and sanded where necessary. As he was painting, we added on a stairwell and the second floor hall; Charile took in in stride and adjusted the bill according (and fairly).

Charlie was here for about nine (9) days, he got to work immediately upon arrival and alway cleaned up at night before leaving. His communication skills are excellent; even though I kept changing my mind about colors, at the end of the day there was no confusion. another project pending for him). Dependable, easy to communicate with, great work and reasonable prices!

Was under several other estimates, very thorough in prep. spent 4 1/2 days here and did a fabulous job.

He was able to arrive within 24 hrs to provide an estimate and then was able to get me into his schedule within a week. I needed 3 walls and a the floor painted in an unfinished portion of my basement. He knew exactly what to recommend and then completed the work in less than 3 days (including scrapping, sanding and painting)

Charlie showed up on time and got to work. After the ceiling in the family room was done we realized it would need a second coat on either side of the lower beams and he did that for a reasonable added cost. A covering on the island slipped and some ceiling paint splattered on the wood, but it was cleaned off with no issues. The cutting in around the molding was done very well, considering we have a textured ceiling. The job took a little longer than planned as we had the extra coat on family room ceiling, but Charlie did the work quickly and by himself. Charlie also took it upon himself to tape and patch a crack by a window we hadn't seen and fix a couple other areas, as well as smooth plastered areas where the electrician had done some work. Charlie's quote was excellent and I think commensurate with being a young guy in the business. We had received a much higher quote from a gentleman who has been in the business for perhaps double the years and while I'm sure his work would have been exemplary, we were very happy with Charlie's job and would hire him again.

I'd hire Charlie again in a heartbeat!

Charlie and his father Simon had painted the exterior of my neighbor's house during the summer, and made such a good impression that I asked them to give me a quote on the work I needed done. My house (inside and out) was badly in need of a new paint job, and I had looked actively for a company to do the work. CM Painting's price was more than fair, less than several other companies (that I had found on Angie's list!) that had looked at the job. The painters are a father/son team; the father has 44 years of experience and the son 14. They were the most careful and professional painters I've ever had (and I've had several). They prepped all walls, patched and sanded nail holes, smoothed over rough areas and scraped down layers of old paint on window sills and doors. It took 5 1/2 days for the entire job. I work from home, and they were not at all intrusive: while they had a radio, the sound was very low (Greek folk music). They worked steadily, arriving at 8 am on the dot, and only took one short lunch break. Every night everything was tidied up; floors were swept and all supplies put on a drop cloth in a corner out of the way. They took down the window shades and replaced them after the work was finished. They painted the insides of the window wells - 2 sets of previous painters had not done that. They also painted a (previously painted) stairway to the attic - something I had not expected, and no one had ever done before. They painted the inside of 3 closet doors. Another unexpected treat: they sanded and revarnished the stairway banisters, from the ground floor to the attic floor. They inspected their own work and touched up any places that needed it on the day that they finished. There were no paint spills or drips anywhere - I've never had that happen! And, as a final touch, they mopped the floors after they were done. They will be back in January to paint the dining room, kitchen, and 2 bathrooms, and I will have them paint the exterior of my house in the spring. It was a remarkable experience from start to finish, I never thought I'd be impressed enough by a painting company to have nothing but praise for them. I would recommend them to anyone.
