Gave me a same day appointment. And over the phone walked me through the costs in a clear and understandable manner. The technician arrived on time and walked me through what had happened and what he would do. He took his time and did a great job. Very impressed with this company and the staff.

Josh - the service guy, was excellent. Knew what was needed and did the job well and also did other minor fixes without requiring us to ask and did not charge extra for it.

These guys did a great job, came out the next day, and were reasonably priced

From Start to Finish - I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience! 
Initial contact with Brian was a good first impression. When I told him what I needed, he was already familiar with my Townhouse association "Rules" for Garage doors and he even had the correct color code. So then I simply placed the order for the door and was told it was 5-6 weeks delivery, which was fine as I allowed plenty of time. Once the door arrived Brian contacted me and we scheduled the appointment. 
Fast Forward to install day: I arrived at my townhouse to start doing some repairs on my own, at 730am to await the 830am arrival from American Garage Door. Brian called at 8am and mentioned that they had a few emergency calls and they'd be there before noon. Charlie showed up well before noon and all I can say is he did a great job! During the install, he had noted that my garage door opener was not centered on the door itself. (meaning the garage door track was not parallel with the door tracks). He wound up moving the garage door opener so everything lined up. That is the kind of extra effort I didn't expect too see but was happy that he has good attention to detail. Charlie then cleaned up and the garage was cleaner than when he arrived! 
Overall it was an Outstanding Experience and I will recommend American Garage Door to anyhow who asks!

Our garage door opener was not working and this company was recommended to me by our house alarm company.  I  called  them  and gave us a reasonable quote. Within a day they came to our house ....early morning on a very cold Saturday. I cannot
say enough positive things about our experience. They arrived early on the scheduled day, went right to work and did an excellent job, efficient,courteous and thorough. I will definitely call them again if we need their services.

I called on Monday morning about a cranky garage door opener that would not close the door properly.  A woman answered promptly and professionally.  I explained the situation as best I could and she asked a few other good questions trying to get a better understanding of the situation.  She said that she thought it best that she send someone out to service the door and check to see what may be the problem.  She thought that it might be the sensors (photo eyes), but that the technician would be able to better judge after looking at it.  I asked if it would be possible to come early in the day, and she scheduled for someone to come out  the very next morning between 7:30 and 8:00 am.  The technician was here promptly at 8:00 and worked quietly and quickly.  The door runs much quieter now after the servicing and the door closes properly.
Nice people to work with.  Job well done.

I called in the morning, and they came out the same afternoon. Nice man. Punctual. Knew what he was doing. Door works great now. Definitely would use them again.

Great response from original call for information through completion of work. Very easy to scehdule times, and technician (Charlie) was thorough and great at communicating all the steps he was taking and would take to put garage doors into good working shape. Fixed broken spring (we hadnt realized one side of the spring had broken) and ordered replacement.
Its a simple service call, but its great to find a responsive, honest and communicative provider. Happy to use them in future.

The service was great.  The technician called a half hour before he arrived and did a great job.  He explained that I had plastic rollers and could upgrade if I wanted to.  No pressure.  I did want it done and he was prepared to take care of it.  I was very happy with the service.  It was a few dollars more than the  big deal I had purchased and refunded but it was worth it to get quality customer service.  Would definitely call them again!
