He was a complete disaster. We are new homeowners, so were incredibly green...and we paid for it.
He underbid the job by several thousands of dollars, partially (and badly) completed little bits of tasks, hired unlicensed subs, hired a painter who didn't use lead-safe procedures on our porch and "painted" only w/ primer, didn't pull permits for electrical or plumbing, never closed out roofing permit, then skated away w/ $7000 of the start-up money. Oh, and he took our house keys, which we had a heck of a time getting back. We're still trying to undo all of the damage he did. If you see his name on anything, seriously, run in the other direction. You don't want this guy anywhere your home.
