I do not recommend Sears for appliance repair. It did not cost anything because they were completely inept. They did not bring part they needed, when they ordered the part they shipped it to the wrong place and then they could not find my place. I told them just stop. I had taken 3 different days off of work to have them come and it was not working.

The service was reasonably okay.

Good service and very competitively priced. I called around to other chain shops that perform the types of services that Sears performs and they are usually the least expensive. Service is very good, no problems with the work they did. Very punctual as well. The jobs I had them do each took about a half a day. If you don't have a personal mechanic or you need your car before your mechanic can get to it Sears auto is who you should call.

They set up an appointment within a day or two after you place the request and they come when they say they will come. They are very good and professional. I have been very happy with them. They are a lot more reasonable. I have used them in the past. I am going to use them for everything. I rate them high overall.

They initially quoted me about $1900, and I paid $1800 for it. Sears has a price matching policy, by virtue of which, if you find the same product cheaper within a certain amount of time - 90 days in this case - they ll match the price for you, and lower it accordingly. They didn t have the policy 5 years ago, but I see it now, and I ve bought all my appliances from Sears. The experience with them was excellent. I went in to buy a certain brand of TV, and I got an associate to answer my questions. I ended up buying another brand, because it was higher in quality, and had the same price that I had budgeted for the television.
