Quinn Construction and Home Improvements

We expanded our kitchen by bumping it out about four feet into a large enclosed porch that was attached to the kitchen side of our home. The kitchen was totally gutted to make room for new walls, ceiling and lighting. Scott was no doubt the right person for this project.  He was thorough, detailed, made solid suggestions that worked great and his craftmanship was incredible. He did not overlook anything,  Scott handled the entire job himself besides the plumbing and electrical. The gentlemen who handled the plumbing and electric were also great.  Scott worked side by side with the kitchen design folks, who were from Lowes and also fantastic, to make sure all cabinet measurements were spot on, he was at our house everyday and gave us day by day updates of what he was going to do next.   He painted, did the tile backsplash, molding and made improvements to the porch.  Our kitchen looks like a picture out of a magazine.  If you want a remodel done right, call Scott.

I could write a dissertation on the nightmare of and quot;professionalsand quot; we've hired for various jobs since we built our house in 2005, but I'll cut to the chase. We were sick of people who don't return calls, don't show up on time, sometimes not at all, and act like they are doing us a favor by working on our house. Needless to say, we were tentative when we starting getting quotes for the work we needed done. Our fears however, were quickly laid to rest because Scott has been nothing short of a god send for us. Not only is Scott extremely talented at what he does, but he's professional, shows up on time EVERYDAY, is a perfectionist with his work, and maintains constant communication so that we know what will be accomplished on a daily basis. The fact that he is an incredibly nice guy, just makes doing business with him even easier. Having someone in your house doing work can be extremely stressful. Scott however,made the whole process seamless. We could not be any happier with the work he has done for us so far. We've already lined up more projects for him at our house and have recommended him to others in the neighborhood as well. There is no one else that we will trust for any of our projects besides Scott Quinn.

From our first meeting with Scott before our kitchen renovation, we were impressed with his preparedness for any question or concern. Scott had pictures of his completed jobs, and was able to point us in the right direction for cabinets and other materials, and his advice to us about moving our refigerator from one part of the kitchen to another was spot-on. So when we decided to replace all of the windows in our home, as well as the slider and front door, we made only one call - to Scott.
Scott's advice to us about the choice between and quot;replacementand quot; windows vs. and quot;new constructionand quot; windows was excellent. For our home, Scott believed that the and quot;new constructionand quot; windows were the way to go. His reasoning was that there were fewer chances for ill-fitting windows/frames and the efficiency and look would be excellent. We went with Scott's recommendation and have been very happy.
Scott's work ethic is without peer. During the time he was working in our home, he was organized and methodical, and cleaned up well at the end of the day. Everything about the way Scott works is terrific, and if he hits a snag his professionalism is unsurpassed.
We would not hesitate to call on Scott Quinn again when remodeling our home.

After getting an appraisal for my home during a refinance, we were told by the lender we needed railings installed on our stairs to get the refinance as we currently had none. We were referred to Scott through a relative. We contacted him and told him of our tight timeline to get railings installed to get our refinace done. He came by within a week to take measurements and give us a quote. He was able to squeeze us in the next week. The railings were installed and stained in three days. We couldn't be happier with his work. He was very professional and easygoing. We would absolutely hire him again in the future and recomend him to friends and family.

It was fantastic. The contractor was here on time the day after the call. The electrician followed the next day, on time. They were both neat and very courteous !

Over the course of 4 weeks, Scott performed several home improvements on our house including, gutting and renovating the bathroom, installing a new custom cabinet, residing parts of the exterior and repairing the basement stairs.
