Work started out okay. Multiple delays over next 6 months , multiple excuses and then eventually the owner, Anthony McLaughlin stopped responding to my calls and messages. Job only halfway done have had to get the Massachusetts deleading contractor board involved and a lawyer as I plan to sue not only for work not being done but lost income related to vacant Apartments.

Was told it would take 2 to 3 weeks to delead the property - we were out of our house for close to 3 months because they used the wrong method to delead. Anthony was never able to provide any indication of the progress of the work. Failed 3 inspections before finally passing.

The owner choose to do encapsulation for this project, at the time of re-inspection the state changed the way they look at the areas to be encapsulation, so we went back in set house up again and stripped the wood work to get lead compliance for him, at our cost, also we left him a $ 5,000.00 to have the wood work re-paint, by other to complete the job, then new years eve day I get a call that painter he choose was sanding the wood and did not clean up right, when we left the property a set of clean wipe sample had passed per the state's requirement, I feel we did want we were hired to do by getting lead compliance, Anthony McLaughlin,

Description of Work: Hired them to delead our old house. They did the deleading, but took 3 months (rather than 3 weeks) to do it, and damaged our windows to the tune of $30,000 (which their insurer paid after we got a lawyer involved). We just finished repairing the damage.

Sometime dealing with customers, that, had the offer to replace the windows in there home, They chose to strip the paint off of them instead, when complete, yes some scratches on the glass we told her we would replace all the damaged glass, I feel know that they made the WRONG chose to try and save the OLD wood sashes, they were made happy, by going thru our ins. to fix the problem that they, I feel caused by trying to keep the old windows, Anthony [owner] Of J&S McLaughlin Family LLC
