Based on the initial estimate, we agreed on a price of $3200 where the following work were to be performed: Strip and dispose of existing roof over house and garage. Install new roof with IKO architectural shingles (dark gray color), IKO ice and water shield 6 feet. Install 8 inch aluminum white drip edge. Install Ridge vent. Replace wood trims along the main house and garage. Replace face trim on back of garage. Replace rake boards. Inspect/repair/replace all other flashings as needed. Paint garage doors (paint supplied by owner). Replace damaged vinyl sidings strips. The work was also supposed to be completed in 2 days. It took Kevin 2 weeks, he did not fulfill everything on the contract, and was threatening me to come over and remove the new shingles if he did not receive the $300 balance that was owed to him. (I actually saved the voice mail threat and have also contacted my attorney about the situation).
