Dermody Cleaners

I have been going to Dermody's Cleaners for years. Their main plant and original store is at 34 Cohannet St. They opened another store on County Street, closer to my home a few years ago, and have a 3rd store on Winthrop St. in Taunton. They offer free pick up and delivery service; monthly discount specials (October is bedspreads); and $5.00 discounts for spending a certain amount on cleaning, etc. which they track on their computer. They also offer coupons through "Super Coups" or "Value Pak" (I forget which. They also offer laundry service: wash, dry and fold which is charged by the pound. Open 7 days a week until 9:00 and Sundays until 6:00. Their clerks are awesome; Terry is a super guy and gives back a lot to the community, running a yearly "coat drive for children". You drop off the coats and he cleans them and distributes them to needy families. Great people and great business!
