Taverns Painting

Taverns have performed a number of projects throughout our home, and we could not be happier with the results! In fact, they’ve now become our preferred contractor. When my wife and I first moved into our home, it was in dire need of a new interior paint job. After encountering several issues in searching for the right contractor (poor customer service, questionable reputation, sticker shock), we finally found Taverns and haven't looked back. The owner, Mick, took the time to walk through every room in our home with us, asking us probing questions to better understand our wishes for the job. We were relieved to finally find someone who genuinely cared about our home and our tastes, and we appreciated that he was anticipating project needs that we hadn’t even considered. He showed us pictures of his past work (which looked great) and quoted us a competitive price. We were sold! Mick did all the work himself and was extremely professional and communicative throughout. Our interior now looks as good as new. Since then, we have called on Taverns for several other jobs, including installing new interior trim and wallpaper, laying new flooring in our basement, custom wood work, and other “handyman” jobs. Each time, they’ve done a tremendous job at a competitive price. I’m sure we’ll be calling them again soon for our next project!

We had some water damage in our finished basement caused by a cracked foundation. In order to repair the crack in the foundation we had to open the wall from floor to ceiling. It was a mess. We hired Taverns Painting to repair the wall after the crack was sealed. They came when they said they would, repaired the wall in one day and did an excellent job. It looks as good as new. The cost exactly matched the estimate. We hired Taverns Painting to repair the wall and intended to do the painting ourselves. When they found out that we had leftover paint from the last time the room was painted they volunteered to paint it for us at no additional charge. We were very happy with this vip service!
