I've been bringing my cars to Paradise Auto for years and will continue to do so. This week, I had friends visiting from Maryland who had driven up and who mainly wanted the steering wheel to stop shuddering at highway speeds, plus a few other issues. They got us in the day after we called, fixed the issues that were causing the most headache, and identified a few less critical issues for my friends to take home to their regular mechanic. Paradise also identified some work that had been done poorly by the Maryland mechanic, and my friends used that information to get a commitment from that mechanic to make good on the work when they return.
Paradise Auto has always given us good guidance on when and how to fix issues, and has always done high-quality work on several of my vehicles. It's unusual to have an auto service shop where you've had no bad experiences, but I can honestly say that about Paradise Auto.
(Also, their location near the Swampscott train station is a plus for dropoff and pickup.)
