Pedro was very professional and clean. As advertised, his feet did not touch my floor. He wore booties. He was pleasant and performed the duties with care. He told me exactly what he found. His boss wrote up a detailed report of what Pedro found. It took about a week to get the report. The report indicated that my flue was deteriorating and a hazard to life and property. There were a few cracks in the upper part of the chimney and some of the bricks needed to be replaced and repointed. He suggested taking down the chimney to the roofline. With new liner in one flue, parge coating in another, plus chimney repair, the estimate came to $18-20,000. I called another (quite reputable) chimney repair man who inspected my flues and chimney and told me that the chimney was not unsafe, it could be used and that the recommended repairs internally were not necessary. He agreed that the exterior chimney needed some new bricks and repointing. He is charging me $1200 for the brick repair.
Description of Work: When I called for an appointment, they answered promptly, made an appointment in a timely manner and Pedro arrived on time as scheduled. He cleaned 2 flues and inspected them as well as my chimney.
