Great. I’ve worked with Mark before and appreciate his attention to detail, input the project and communication.

Mark was responsive, he communicated well from the first contact. While here, he did the job and then diagnosed and resolved a connection problem in the breaker board. We had been told we needed an extra switch close to the heater- Mark explained that the breaker board was close enough that it respected the code. (which saved us money). Mark is very professional and honest.

I can’t say enough about Mark, who is incredibly smart, kind, and honest. This summer, lightning struck our property, destroying our well pump, garage door openers, and several other pieces of equipment. Mark responded on a Sunday and immediately went to work diagnosing and solving our problem. We feared that we would need an entirely new electrical line running to the house—a job that would have entailed trenching and thousands of dollars. Instead, Mark discovered that the electrical surge from the lightning had destroyed our well’s capacitor. As a result, instead of facing a huge project, days without water, and thousands of dollars in repair bills, we were up and running in a matter of several hours. Mark resolved the capacitor problem and installed whole-house surge protection. We were truly impressed by his professionalism and dedication to solving our problem. (It also helps that he is incredibly smart and enjoys a challenge!) I can’t possibly imagine using any other electrician after working with Mark. In fact, after our repair work was finished, we immediately hired him to do two additional projects for our home. I highly recommend this wonderful professional!

Fantastic. Mark is responsive, not intimidated by any of the myriad projects I throw at him, informative about all my options regarding price, efficiency, expected delivery timing, and all around pleasant to work with.

This company was hired by our General Contractor. They were having disputes about payments and contract details. As we neared completion and move-in date, there was a major discussion about smoke and fire alarms. The electrician felt it was not his responsibilty but we had a discussion after I had paid him a significant amount of money to complete the job and I asked him to not let the alarms become an issue that would delay the final inspection. He assured me verbaly it would not.
He showed up on the final day to complete the work and I was told he needed an additional $1000 to finish the job. In essence, I was and quot;squeezedand quot; by him. If I did not pay him, a delay in move-in would occur with additonal monies paid to moving company. I found his behavior to be totally unprofessional and unethical. I would not trust this company at all. It is a very unpleasant situation and I share this with hopes that someone else will not have the same experience.

Excellent! Very knowledgeable and trustworthy. Mark and David are really good at what they do and know their stuff. They ran lighting to every room and updated all the outlets and wiring to code. They also removed excess wires from previous owners cable and phone that was not needed by us.

Roussel Electric has done several small and a couple of larger jobs for me, on three different houses, over a period of several years. Marc's work is excellent; he is attentive to both code and finish throughout. He is also creative in devising cost-effective solutions for wiring challenges in older or oddly constructed buildings. I was particularly impressed recently when he offered a code-compliant way to install a manual transfer switch within existing panel, so that outside backup generators could be installed for about half the expected cost and with no new boxes to crowd the space. (Ask him about it - it's a neat approach that I had not previously seen.)
My only issue has been with his associate, who was not so good about either protection of finished surfaces or cleanup after each day's work. I let Marc know I preferred that he do all the work himself, and results have been fine.
