Melanie visited the site and we discussed colors and climate conditions, whether we wanted flowers or greenery, shrubs, grass, etc. She came back with a design on paper and after we tweaked some finishing touches, her crew came back and planted the plants, adding compost and fertilizer to enrich the soil. She kept track of the rainfall and came back two times to water the plants during a dry spell.
