Ms. Kirkpatrick was the buyers representative for the buyer of my home. During this process, I found Ms. Kirkpatrick to act in an unprofessional manner in the representation of her buyer, and was demeaning of my home, citing that she had confidential information disclosed to her by a third party (reportedly the agent I had purchased the home from 7 years prior). Ms. Kirkpatrick stated to my agent that this information was 'public knowledge', though she did cite the confidential source. The information that she represented to her buyer was inaccurate and out of date, and she did not bother to personally confirm the third party information. This information had to do with various conditions of the home which had been fully repaired prior to offering the home for sale. I found her negotiation tactics and approach to be insulting and unprofessional. It is hard to be offended when someone is trying to buy something from you, but I very nearly did not complete the transaction because I was so offended. The only saving grace for me, was meeting the buyer personally, after which I was willing to work through the issues that led to the sale.
