We are working on renovating our basement and the work was all done by TJH & Sons in a few phases. This is the third Phase, finish work. Phase 1 was demolition of the basement ceiling, Phase 2 was installation of a wood panel ceiling/drywall.
Tim and Clay (his son) are hardworking and efficient, and are very good at solving problems that come up. Tim and Clay usually work together but sometimes they work alone. They are usually a few minutes early for scheduled jobs.
We had them finish basement doorways, cover up columns and trim out a wood panel ceiling.
Because they are in Stow and we also live in Stow, any special cuts that are required for wood finishing can be quickly done at their workshop. They created corner trims as well as mitered some lolly column covers in wood. They also finished doorways and took care of the little details, including finishing door frames that became much shorter due to our lowered ceiling height from our ductwork. I think they enjoy making everything look finished when they are done, then ready for paint.
They do joint compounding, but they do not do painting or plastering, so we are doing the painting work ourselves. They had everything all ready for some detail joint compounding, light sanding and painting by the time they were done.
Tim is also willing to work on the smaller projects (2-4hours long) , and are priced reasonably-- they are really flexible. If you need a solution to something that needs fixing, they are able to ask the right questions, solve the issue, create the woodwork, purchase exactly the right supplies for it, and make it look good in the end. I highly recommend them!

Tim responded promptly to my request for a quote on the job.  He came the next day to evaluate the job and did the work later that afternoon.  He and his son were very careful to properly flash around the new vent and to weave the replacement shingles in with the old shingles.  He cleaned up all the debris after he was finished.  Tim is a knowledgeable pro.  I will use him again for those jobs I cannot do myself and  I recommend him to others.  He charges by the hour.

They did a beautiful job. He also replaced lights for us. He put on closet door and made railings for walls. He also put in an took out our air conditioners. He is very talented and very careful. He is a jack of all trades that is good at all of them. He is very good. He has added houses and build wings on our street.
