Although we were trying to finish a small space (about 400 square feet), we had several significant design challenges such as awkwardly placed utilities, a small entryway, and a low ceiling in one area due to existing HVAC ducting. Out of four contractors that we consulted, only two were willing to try and solve these issues to provide us with a usable space. Robert was optimistic that he could make it work and produced us with a design using 3D CAD software that allowed us to see what the space could look like. He worked with us to make the design tweaks we wanted and we signed the contract on March 3rd.

Robert immediately started to work on the project and quickly provided us with a timeline of the work to be completed. The plumbing and framing work started on March 21st and the final inspection was completed ahead of schedule on April 13th. All the materials were delivered on time and the level of communication with Robert was fantastic. We were always kept apprised of the status of the project and knew what was being planned for that day. Throughout the project, Robert provided many smart suggestions when we needed to make changes to our initial plan which was very helpful. Robert is very organized and that was clear in how he handled the job, managed the numerous individual milestones, and tracked project expenses.

Robert uses contractors that he knows and all of them were professional and friendly. In addition, Robert made sure that the subcontractors cleaned up at the end of every day and checked all of their work.

We were very happy with the job that Robert did for us and would use him again in the future.

The whole process was excellent. We started with a free consultation and free ballpark estimate. Robert had lots of great design ideas that had not been presented by other contractors and had a list of references for me to call (all of whom gave glowing reports). Although he was not the lowest bidder, I felt confident that the price was fair and his description of the work was comprehensive, so I wouldn't be faced with 'surprise' costs during the construction process. After signing the contract, the whole construction process went smoothly. Materials arrived on time and as ordered and his crew was onsite consistently until the job was done. Robert visited and oversaw the site daily and communicated with me constantly about the process, answering any questions I had. The job was completed on time and on budget - and I am thrilled with the results of my project. I would happily recommend Robert for any remodeling project large or small!
