They are a good service. We've used them for a number of years. What is good about them is we've had them for a number of years. I don't have to call them, they come every year and they do the spring clean up and it was messy this year. They are just reliable and quick and reasonable priced.

I've been using him for five years. I keep using them because of their price and reliability. I would certainly recommend them. I know my wife has had a few issues with them but I think we've been reasonably happy with them.

The team performs lawn services promptly without problems. I don't think they go above and beyond like our last lawn company, but they do seem responsible and capable.

The best part of the work is that the re-grading did help to cut down on water in our basement, and the re-grading was almost half of the expense. We appreciated that high-quality work.
There were lots of bumps in working with Luke's company, although he is a nice guy if you get a chance to speak with him. It took almost two months from our first contact until the work was actually done. The estimate didn't come in when promised and a final walk-through before the work was to occur was a waste of our time (the man who came told us Luke sent him down at the last minute without any knowledge of our project). Luke did apologize for the walk-through issue; he’d been injured and
didn’t want to cancel on us. The problem was that a useless meeting was worse than no meeting at all because it was lost
time on our part. We’d have preferred just to reschedule and would have been understanding about Luke's injury.
The re-graded (and supposedly re-seeded) lawn stayed bare until we invested in our own fertilizer and seed. Whatever Luke used didn't take at all. He asked us to let him know how it was doing and said he did a drive-by to check on the grass, but there were only a few blades of grass and he said everything looked good. By the time he actually did the work, we were in hot summer months, so we understood when the grass didn't take right away. But we wished he'd have come by to re-seed when it failed altogether.
The final bummer was that two of our new shrubs were planted in the wrong color. Since they didn't bloom until this spring, we didn't know right away. We paid Luke to replace our full-grown pink rhododendron with a white one, and now we have an immature pink one. We also paid him to plant a white lilac, and the one we got is dark purple. When we contacted Luke about it, he said it was an error on the part of the nursery and that he’d ask the nursery about replacement and get back to us within a week. It’s been more than a month, and we’ve had no response. We’ve tried leaving voicemail and email, but we’ve given up.
We paid our bill promptly and would have been happy to refer others to Luke, but the lack of responsiveness when work wasn’t as-promised has been disheartening. We don’t need immediate fixes, but communication about a plan moving forward would have been much appreciated.

A Luke Jones representative came to my house on Sept 24 to inspect and measure the job site. On Sept 26, I received their proposal via email. I accepted their proposal on the 27th and they started the job on Oct 15. The job was done two or three days later. They were very quiet (no large or heavy machinery was used) and always left the job site clean and neat. A week or so later (after they had been paid), they returned to add more sand to the spaces between the bricks.

They have been reliable and we have been reasonably happy with them.

Luke had done a fall clean up for me so I emailed him asking for an estimate for a spring clean up and mow. He emailed back the estimated cost and an approximate date for service. He came to my house within the window of time that he had said and the yard looks great.

Luke Jones is easy to communicate with. He listens to my needs and takes care of what I am looking for.

The cleanup was perfect. We are also very happy with the weekly mowings. They are using a mulching mower as requested to help fertilize the lawn in a healthy way. The yard looks very nice and their rates are reasonable. The plan is to mow weekly until summer when every other week will probably be sufficient. We are impressed with Luke's prompt replies to our emails and his responsiveness to our individual needs. We highly recommend this company.
