Stephen Goulston owner of Mario’s Quality Roofing, Siding & Windows likes to fix things. When his personal experiences with home improvement contractors left him frustrated with their unreliability and shoddy work, he decided that the home improvement industry itself was in need of repair. As his first step to positively affect the industry, he made a promise to himself that he would regard every house that he worked on as though it was his own and treat every customer the way he would want to be treated. That meant that Mario’s Quality Roofing, Siding & Windows would make an uncompromised commitment to quality – employing only the most highly skilled and experienced craftsmen for its crews and using only the highest grade of materials for roof repairs or replacement – and an unwavering pledge to customer service. The end result of a very complicated project to retain the aesthetic of our 1884 historic Victorian home, while delivering a sustainable largely maintenance free exterior, FAR exceeded our expectations. There were lots of creative solutions to unique "challenges." Crew was exceptional in its workmanship, work ethic and respect for our property. My only disappointment is that we did not do this sooner!

They showed up on time. It was a fantastic experience. I haven't found a single nail. They did what they said they were gonna do. Top shelf job quality. Very very pleased with them. They have attention to detail, cleanliness and cost. I have no problem with it.

We contracted Mario's Roofing to replace our wood siding with vinyl back in spring 2022. We were so impressed with their professionalism, efficiency, and high quality work (as well as their competitive pricing) that it was an easy decision to return to them for a new roof and new skylights this year. Once again, we were extremely impressed with how thorough and skilled Mario's team of workers is. They said the job would be completed in a day, but they actually finished before lunchtime. The finished roof is flawless. Thanks to Mario's, we can now rest easy with complete confidence in the strength and durability of our our home's exterior -- both siding and roof.

Perfect start to finish...no surprises. The installation team were very professional and worked thru their lunch hour to finish the job. They cleaned up the waste and work areas and also protected our floors and carpets with tarps as they worked. Great experience start to finish. Wish they could redo our kitchen. Highly recommend Mario’s.

Called Mario about 10am. Response time could not have been better. They had Tim out to inspect this within an hour. Within 2 hours they already had a team out to do some temporary repairs to hold off any further damage. Tim was excellent. He answered all my questions and even worked directly with our insurance company. Over the course of a month I must have called Tim 10-15 times. It never once went to voicemail. He always picked. The roofing team did a great job too. Showed up on time, worked quickly and did an amazing job cleaning up. They even walked around the yard with a huge magnet to pick up any nails. Could not have had a better experience.

Our experience started with meeting Mario's salesman, Dan. He was prompt, pleasant and knowledgeable. Our house has had it's share of settling, so we decided to go with a construction company rather than a window company. This ended up being a great decision as it really needed someone with carpentry skills to be installed properly. Joe did an outstanding job. He also was pleasant and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Mario's for any construction needs.

The roof replacement was done by Mario's in 2009 and the work was good quality at a competitive cost. there have been no problems. On February 25, 2019 there was an unusual wind storm that damaged the cap shingles on the ridge vent. Mario's came the day after I called and replaced the ridge vent shingles at no cost. The original installation had been done properly and Mario's had no liability to do a free replacement.

This is the first negative review I've ever written but feel it's necessary to warn others. I called Mario's because we have a leak in our roof. The salesperson who set up a time to come inspect it, cancelled, then rescheduled a few days later. No big deal. When the time came, he didn't show. I called and he told me we never rescheduled? He finally came out a week later, spent no more than 3 minutes at my house, did not get on my roof and told me our flashing was done wrong. I believed this and paid a deposit to get the work done and I could not get them to book the work. I will say the front office staff was very nice each time I called. I called 5 times over the next two weeks and they continued to tell me they would call back but no one ever did. I eventually had my husband call to get my money back. The salesperson tried to tell my husband I was a liar. I'm now working with a different company who actually got on the roof, took photos and showed me the problem. It has nothing to do with the flashing. We would have paid $800 for something that was not the problem! I cannot recommend this company.

Mario did excellent roofing service. They did such a thorough job almost 8 years ago. While doing the job also they had advised correctly on where the rubber roof and where the shingles have to be put on. It was the lowest in cost but they did not compromise in any quality and they made sure the quality is excellent. There are no problems at all in the roof for all these years. The workmen and the supervisors are on the field doing their work diligently for every step of the work. I cannot express my satisfaction in words, even their president is hands-on and he crawls into small attics without hesitation. The workmen-ship, and material is flawless and longstanding. The testament is that after 8 years also my roof looks and functions like new. It also gives a great comfort that they are such a wonderful company who is around for us any time just a call away to give added confidence, and I keep recommending them to my friends all the time!
