"The individual writing this review was completely unaware that her parents had called and contracted us for their snow plowing service at their residence. We don't just randomnly sign people up for snow plowing services and start plowing their driveways. Rather than have a polite, and civil conversation the daughter called yelling and swearing at us. My office manager informed me of the issue and said she had never dealt with a customer so rude and disrespectful in her entire customer service career. I (the owner) being in an office over, could hear the yelling coming through the phone. I thought my manager was composed and respectful, and I apologized to her that she had to experience that. I called the daughter of the customer that hired us. I provided a return call and informed her that her parents had contacted us. Her parents had hired us in the past and their daughters email and phone were used as the account information. I had no way of knowing whose number was who. I just took down the information that they provided me with. How else would I have their info? That was what was on the account file. Therefore, the invoice that was emailed was sent to the daughter (lives at a different residence) and not her parents (who hired us and whose house received the service.) The phone number we called and left a message on prior to the storm was also the daughter's, not her parents who hired us. It was a simple conversation and a very simple issue to fix the contact information. For someone to call us and behave in the manner in which they did and then come on here and leave a negative review is so incredibly dissapointing, retaliatory and simply not accurate. I try not to pass judgement because I never know what people are going through in their lives, but I hope they find peace."

"Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, I believe the information we provided had been misunderstood and it has been reflected in this review. The customer is located an hour away from our location. We would be able to provide a day worth or multiple days of work because it would make the travel worth it. However, it would make no sense for us to drive an hour for a twenty minute job. Therefore, my recommendation would be to find a more local company because what we would have to charge would not make sense for the customer. We were very upfront about this. Unfortunately, this customer perceived it as we did not want her business or that we only want big jobs which is not the case. She also gave us an F on pricing which is the exact reason we recommended finding a more local company for those very small jobs. Yes, the pricing we provided did not make sense because the travel was so far."
"Absolutely had no idea this customer had any issues with our service. Secondly, these services were provided in 2013-2014. Had this been brought to our attention way back when we would have been more than happy to accommodate them or work something out, or provide a proper explanation because they clearly are confused. Our prices are fixed. They do not change unless a customer adds more work or there are circumstances beyond our control. This is all part of the contract that they signed. The year that they are referring to was the year that we had 6 feet of snow and broke all time records for snow. There was so much snow that this customer needed excavators to move piles. I think every one was being charged additional for certain storms that season. What we had to do was far more than a regular snow plowing. Our trucks sure did take a beating that year but that would have absolutely nothing to do with prices. We don't raise prices for that reason. Sounds like they misunderstood friendly conversation. The reason for additional fees was due to insane amounts of snow. Only a $25 increase should have been considered a blessing considering the storms we had that winter. I am sure many reading this paid a lot more than that! As for the other complaint..... We provided a flat day rate for labor of 24 man hours. They then added a whole bunch of other projects. My crew stayed until nearly 8 PM and charged based on our hourly rates for the work they added and even acknowledged in this review. ****IMPORTANT NOTE***** If you have a set price for a set amount of work and then add hours worth of more work, this work is not free. You will be expected to pay for the additional work."
