DOSTOOMIAN ROOFING SYSTEMS

They came out a couple of weeks ago and did an assessment of our entire roof.  They were very honest and told us that we could get at least a few more years out of our roof.  Right before that assessment, a big branch fell on our porch causing damage to the roof shingles and wood.  They said that they could come out and patch up just that section and that they would be able to fit us in as soon as possible.  They came out just like they said they would.  The estimate was within range and they did a great job.  I will definitely call them in a couple of years when we get the new roof done.

We hired Dostoomian roofing to come to our house to remove an ice d*** to stop a bad leak. They came out when they said they would and were able to stop the leak. Next week we had another snow storm and more leaks began. I called up and made an appointment for them to come out again, but they never showed or returned my phone calll. I was able to get in touch with them the next morning and an EXTREMELY rude man told me that they were totally booked and couldn't fit me in. When I explained that I had an appointment scheduled for yesterday, he just said they were too busy and then hung up on me. So I'm left with a leaking house and a long wait for an appointment with another company. If you need responsible service, DO NOT USE Dostoomian.

I call around got as few quotes. Jim was detailed with the assessement of what needed to be done. He was prompt with the job completion and I never knew anyone was there. I liked it so much that I had him repair a garage roof a few weeks later at the same proeoprty. I would use him again.

It was very easy to work with the Dostoomian Roofing Company. I wish it were this easy every time something goes wrong with the house or the yard. It is really wonderful when things go this well.

Jim Dostoomian, the president of the company, was the person who answered the phone. He said he would try to visit my home later that day depending on when his crew returned to the office. He called me ahead of time to be sure it was still a good time for him to visit. He arrived on time and went up to the roof to inspect it.

Jim set up one of his ladders and checked the roof on our two story colonial thoroughly. He said we could get another four or five years out of it. This was a relief to me. He made excellent suggestions for when we do replace the roof. He gave me a reasonable estimate to fix the missing shingle and a couple other loose shingles near it. The roof was fixed less than
twenty-four hours from when I first spoke to him!

A look at the www.dostoomian.com website reveals that this company has been in business over 27 years. It does both industrial and residential roofing, sheet metal fabrication, downspot and gutter services. This company is fully insured and uses only the "highest rated and best available products on the market." Their website says "all employees are skilled individuals with the same mindset of quality work and customer satisfaction."

I will call them again for any roofing or gutter problems. I was comfortable talking with Jim both on the phone and in person even though I don't know much about roofing repair. He did not try to sell me anything I don't need yet. I am pleased to be the first person to recommend Dostoomian Roofing Systems, Inc., to others on Angie's list. This is a strong recommendation for a very positive business experience.
