If you're looking for a landscaper to do routine work in your yard, including snow removal in the winter DON'T CALL VINEYARD! If I could award NEGATIVE points on this rating I would. Wow, what a bad experience we had with Vineyard Landscaping. Unprofessional, shoddy work, non-existent follow up, never answers his phone or calls you back. We constantly had to hound them to come over and work on the lawn. There was never a set schedule. We never knew if they were coming or going. Often times, the owner was not on site so the workmanship was lackadaisical and untrained. Leaving our front yard looking worse than when they got there! Snow removal was even worse!! When we complained that the walk hadn't been cleared properly, the owner simply got mad at US, complaining that he had too much to do! Not that we were ever given a discount or anything. His bookkeeping is his biggest flaw, though. We constantly had to show him that we had already paid bills that he said were unpaid. After not re-contracting with him, he subpoenaed us to appear in Small Claims Court for a bill we had already paid. I tried for 3 months to rectify the situation with him, letting him know that we had proof of payment. The ONE time he returned my phone call he said to me... "Send me what you've got, I've got so many accounts I cant be expected to keep this all straight." Seriously? So we schlepped down to Small Claims Court with all of our cancelled checks in hand and guess who didn't show up? And we were one of two cases he had brought to court that day! He tried to do this to our neighbor, as well, who had also just fired him. TRUST ME ON THIS. STAY AWAY. THIS PERSON DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE IN BUSINESS.
