I converted my oil burner to gas burner to save money, and Graham ensured that I have all the pertinent information available before making my decision. Price was not too bad, considering the money I am saving. Good and friendly company, and they do care about their customers.

Description of Work: The Sila technician serviced my Weil McLain burner and replaced a worn-out part. He explained everything he did and gave me an overall estimate of the life of the burner. Very personable, very professional.

Description of Work: I called company to perform service. They scheduled 2/13/13. No one showed up at appointment. When I called them, they said they will call back. Dan the manager called back, apologized for not showing up, then told me he didn't have a "qualified" plumber to unclog my bathroom sink drain. When I asked to reschedule the appointment he said he wouldn't have a qualified plumber in the future as well and offered to refund the Big Deal that I bought.

Description of Work: I bought a Angie's List big deal for servicing of my very ancient boiler. Sila responded promptly and the technician they sent was prompt, professional, friendly and very neat. While our boiler was working well, it was throwing off unacceptable levels of CO so couldn't be properly serviced, although the technican did manage to bring the levels down, just not down to an acceptable level. He was also able to provide an estimate of the replacement of the boiler. We didn't end up purchasing the boiler through them because my father-in-law is a plumber and we used him and his contacts to get the boiler at wholesale cost. I would definitely use SIla again for any service of the new boiler.

Description of Work: i had sila do the amys list tune up on the furnace they installed december 2011. the man called ahead, and he arrived early. he answered some questions that i had about the system. this was my second experience with this company, and i remain pleased with the service. would use them again.

Description of Work: We asked for a service call to have someone look at our hot water heater and level a toilet. They were easy to schedule and did a great job -- everything we wanted.

Description of Work: I called Sila to look at my thermostat and heating situation in the second and third floor. The service I bought was an end of season AC cleaning. The service professional did a great job on the cleaning and then looked at my furnace for me. He spent almost 3 hours at my house and explained that I needed a return in the third floor so the heating would circulate better and it wouldn't get so hot up there. He was very informative and professional. My only complaint is that the fee to do the work was very expensive. At this point I'm not going forward with the work due to the cost. Thank you for the work done.

Description of Work: Very professional technician who thoroughly explained the condition of my 15 year old system. Did not try to sell extra services. Arrived on time and serviced the system in a reasonable amount of time. I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Work was performed in a professional manner but the price was too high. They serviced the AC, made necessary repairs/part replacements and offered several "maintenance plan options." In hindsight, I should've asked for a detailed breakdown for parts and labor since the total repair cost was combined into one number. I believe the initial $89 service check was a "foot-in-door" offer to run up the bill and sell service plans as the company representative was part technician and part salesman!

Description of Work: The technician was professional and did a thorough analysis of our AC system. He confirmed it was functioning at 100% and recommended changing the fillter which ultimately did lead to an improvement in the performance of the AC unit. I would recommend them for future work.

Description of Work: In addition to the $89.00 cleaning deal, we needed a new part + labor, which cost $125.00. The technician was on time, explained the issue clearly, and had the part available. It was a great experience.

Description of Work: Our air conditioning was not working and we were having hot humid days. AC service came promptly and early in the am so they could inspect the attic at the coolest time of the day. They were respectful, professional and effective. They fixed the problem and the AC was working fine when they left. The next day the first floor AC was not functioning and when we called they promptly followed up. It was just a matter of resetting the thermostat and we were not charged for this additional visit. Overall great service. We will call them again when needed.

Description of Work: As part of the annual service inspection of my AC units, new AC filters were to have been installed. I had to provide the filters because the SIla service rep didn't have them and the filter was improperly installed in one of my AC units. The annual service inspection revealed that large capacitors needed to be replaced to prevent system failure. This work was done very well. The Sila service rep was polite, curteous and punctual.

Description of Work: I have two zones (two heaters). Peter is great. Very responsible and skillful. Only two concerns,1. it seems not cover to check our water tunk. 2. it took a month to get them contacted. No response at all when I sent email to them. I was supposed that they should contact me instead.
