Description of Work: They performed an analysis on our Boiler as well as replaced a few parts that were ending their life cycle. The Technician was knowledgeable and offered several different options on where we could improve (immediate attention, Practical upgrades and long term future planning). I will definitely use Silas for future work on my heating system.

Description of Work: Called to schedule a quote for a new heating system. Representative immediately asked for square footage to give a "quick estimate" via the phone. I said I preferred to discuss the estimate once someone assessed what was needed. The response was that they usually were very high priced so they like to tell people that up front before going out. I assumed this was a newer employee, since he never mentioned value, and I'd think a provider would differentiate themselves on value and not just price? After asking me a few more questions, he then realized I was outside his zone. However, based on their listing and other reviews, I am in their zone. He then hung up. Oddest call I have had with a service provider.

Description of Work: Showed up, did a thorough inspection of our home to install AC. Never heard back with a quote. I called to speak with the sales rep and he said he would get back to me at end of day, never heard. I am sure they do good work but in my case they did not follow up so I can't give them a good grade.

Description of Work: I requested an a/c tuneup, He did the "tune up" and told me my system was in poor condition and didnt know how it was working? It was working fine until then, just had some clogging that he resolved. The died! I called another company who was fabulous! Replaced a part and my system is fine and working terriffic again. Obviously this person was not very knowledgeable, and was using a "scare tactic" to have me replace my A/C? Not a professional way to do business.

Description of Work: 90 degree weather in Boston area 7/5. Upon arriving hoe discovered our central a/c system was pushing out warm air from the room vents. Called Sila and lucked out with one of their technicians being nearby helping another customer. From my initial phone call to Sila their technician arrived at my home less than 45 minutes after my initial phone call. Tech ID'd the problem, quickly installed the needed part and now we're up and running with nice cool air. Technician was terrific, very knowledgeable and to boot I got a $30 discount for using Angie's List to find this company. Great job guys! You're the first I'll call when I have an a/c problem.
