They were very thorough and professional. They taught us what to do and what not to do. They were wonderful.

I talked to the service provider and was told that my hot water heater didnt really need to be changed for another year so he told me to get this deal refunded and then next year I could watch for another deal because he will offer it next year and I could buy it then. they were very nice on the phone. I will buy it next Fall!

Got a simple visual inspection, but not sure I got a "tune-up" - left feeling like I paid $89 in exchange for an opportunity to get up-sold into a very expensive service plan.

I was contacted within 24 hours of purchasing this deal, and made an appointment for early the following week. I was called a few days before the appointment with a confirmation, and called again 30 minutes prior to the technician's arrival. The tech, Bobby, was extremely professional. He wore disposable covers over his boots whenever he entered my house (it was a rainy day.) He was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had for him. He also made a good suggestion for repositioning the outlet hose for one of my fans. The original installers had set it up in such a way that the hose had a few dips along the line, which create pockets of water that just sit. I would highly recommend Sila based on this transaction, and will be hiring them at the very least every few years to tune up my AC units.

I called Sila and they were very helpful but they informed me that the offer did not cover oil furnaces.

The service representative was on time, and did a good and thorough job. He cleaned and checked my gas furnace. The condensate pump was not working correctly, so he repaired that, including cleaning up leakage that had been accumulating on the basement floor. I was very satisfied with the service.

The tech they sent was extra helpful and great, showing me what to do and features of the furnace unit. Definitely impressed. What was less happy was that the central office had not supplied him with information on what the job was, so he wasn't supplied with replacement air filters or the correct tools (it being air conditioning season, apparently.) So I got to buy my own filters and install later, thanks. Great tech, so-so business communications process.

The service tech was prompt, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I used the $89 Angieslist coupon but came to find out that my gas boiler is separated into two systems. Hence, I had to pay an additional $159 to have the second burner serviced at the same time. The tech suggested I look for another coupon online but, alas, the offer was expired. I know it was outside his purview to give me the discounted price on the second unit but it would have been nice just the same. (and why I rated the pricing a "B".) Naturally, my system is old, outdated and needs replacing. The tech explained all the issues and was specific in his written receipt. He wasn't pushy but did recommend replacement over servicing the old system since it would be cost prohibitive.

The tech was in touch by phone to narrow the arrival window, and seemed to work efficiently. He identified the problem with our A/C with a thorough process and had the Sila office contact us for a price quote on a replacement unit. That said, we did not purchase our replacement unit from Sila.

No issues with AC performance this summer

Horrible. My air conditioning unit is very new. They gave me an estimate for $900.00 worth of work that was needed. Fortunately, I did not trust them. I hired another contractor that serviced both of my units for less than one third of what they tried to charge me for one unit. I found them extremely untrust worthy and would avoid them at all costs

We purchased a big deal for the service, and they were good. They were professional, communicative, they always returned our phone calls or correspondence very quickly.

Sila Heating and Air Conditioning did an excellent job. They were very professional: They noticed that a drain had not been installed correctly and gave me a price to have it fixed in the future. A few months later, I did have them fix the drain and do a spring inspection. I like their work so much, Silas is now my permanent air conditioning company.

The salesman was very helpful in givung us information, especially about the Mass Save loan program. Unfortunately, he didn't give us a quote about installing an anti-bacterial light even though we requested it several times and they did not install the heating element. At least they realized they forgot the heating element and alerted us to that fact. However, the salesman promised he would call within a week to rectify the problem but never called or responded to emails or phone calls. Finally, a month later, I called the company directly and he got back to me, telling me to call him directly in the future, which I had done to no avail. He did schedule a time to install the heating element but also told us we had never requested a quote for the anti-bacterial light. We will most likely not return to Sila for the installation of that light or for the service contract since it took a full month and phone calls to supervisors to get the salesman to return our calls.

They didn't charge us an additional for the tune-up and inspection, but gratefully, thankfully, they discovered some other problems that could have led to even bigger problems. The thing that was great was, the fellow that came to do the work was very nice. He showed me his I.D. He was great. When he went in to do the inspection and the tune-up, he actually took photographs of what he found inside the unit, so could explain to me the work that needed to be done which I thought was terrific. He broke it down into may be three different sections explaining to me that I didn't have to do the work done at once if I chose to. Each one would help the air conditioner, and if it's a financial burden or whatever, they could do it separatelI, which I thought was wonderful. He also assured me that he would be the person to come back and do the work, so I was really quite pleased with their office. Their office personal was well. I gave them a triple A, I thought they were marvelous. I absolutely would use them again. There's honor in the company. The workers cannot work off on the side, which I think is excellent. These people are honest. The service was exemplary, unbelievable.

Did this with an Angie's List coupon so I knew Sila Heating and A/C was a highly rated company. Service technician arrived on-time, was courteous and professional. Did a 15 point inspection of the A/C system and verified that everything was working well. No work needed to be done. I'd told him that the outside condenser was making more noise than usual this year so he lubricated the appropriate parts and that reduced the sound. He also provided some useful information about the equipment we have (installed when we did some renovations on the house) so I have a better idea of what to expect in the future.

The results of the checkup could have gone better (the HVAC system needed some work), but I was impressed with Sila. They were easy to get a hold of and accomodated my schedule. The tech was on time and clearly explained the work and tests he was performing. After finding some issues, he walked through what was causing the problems and what could be done to correct them. He then wrote up a summary of the work needed and went over it with me. There was no pressure at all to move forward and I was able to review the proposal and get back to them at a later time. I ended up going with Sila to perform the repairs a few weeks later and I'm happy with the work performed.

Awful, they wanted to charge me $7000.00 to replace hvac air handler & Condenser. Well I found out did not need Condenser,so i replaced Air handler for $2400.00 AND ADDED heat on top. sila charged $359.00 for there visit. RIP OFF SHOP AROUND

We've use Sila now for a few seasons. Of the various vendors that we've used for HVAC, I trust them the most. They are professional and honest.

Sila did a great job in the AC inspection and tune-up. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for AC tune-up and inspection.
