I just moved into an old house a year ago, and needed to replace the ceiling in the kitchen/dining room area. Joe was prompt with the quote and walked me through the steps to coordinate with an electrician, and did a fantastic job overall. Like many older homes, you can try to be prepared for all the quirks that are revealed when you start renovations, but there are always surprises, and Joe was great about coming up with quick, effective solutions that didn't add much more to the timing of the project or the final bill. I'd gladly contact him again for future projects, and would recommend the company to others.

Joe, was wonderful, timely, professional and extremely proficient.  We have a rough surface ceiling and Joe did such a wonderful job of blending with the rest of the ceiling that you can't tell that there was ever damage.  I would highly recommend him and would use him again should we have plastering needs without hesitation..

Joe and a co-worker removed damaged plaster and insulation on one day.  They had to wait a few days for the area to dry.  They came back and put in blue board and plaster.  They also put up plastic to keep dust out of the rest of the house.  They were great  and they were by far the lowest cost. I highly recommend them.

Great experience with Joe and the team at Liberty. Joe was very responsive when I called, came out to my house a few days later and within a few days from that we had agreed on a price. He arrived on time the day of the work, they were very clean and did the job as advertised. I would definitely use them again.

Joe priced out the job on Monday and completed it on Thursday. He and his crew were at work by 7am

and the job was completed by 1pm. Quite a transformation of an old 1850's farmhouse.  We would definitely

hire them again!!

Liberty arrived on time, prepared the space, did the work in a day and cleaned up after.
Ceilings/curved walls look great.
He was clear about what the job entailed and what they did not do.  (Liberty does not sand the final coat of plaster or paint.)

Joe Hook and Liberty Plastering did an AMAZING job.  My ceilings look fabulous and I can't believe how removing the swirls completely changes the look of the rooms  I was impressed when I initially spoke with Joe.  He called me back within 24 hours of my first call.  When he came for the estimate, he took the time to explain everything thoroughly and was a true professional.  I was not here when the job was done and anticipated coming home to a house full of dust.  The exact opposite happened.  The house was SO clean and I truly didn't need to vacuum or clean up one bit!  Also his quote was extremely competitive.  I'd HIGHLY recommend Liberty Plastering.

Joe responded to my voicemail quickly and scheduled a time to come out and price the job.  It was a small job so I appreciated how quickly he responded to my voicemail.  He came out within a day or two of our initial conversation, and provided a quote on the spot.  We accepted and he scheduled us for the following week.  He arrived on time and the repairs were made.  His workmanship was excellent and we were very satisfied with the results.

Excellent job. Joe was great when first called and got this job done for us quickly in our timeframe to coordinate with a renovation. The finished product was excelelnt. Would definitely use them again!

He returned my call the same day and gave me a date he would come and look at job. He came as promised and came back in a few days to do job. He arrived at 7.00 am and did an excellent job and I would hire again for sure.

Joe came and provided a quote to repair a plaster ceiling damage by a roof leak. His quote was spot on. He and his worker were very professional and the work was completed in a couple of hours. With the ceiling repainted you can't even detect the repair. Would not hesitate to call them again or recommend them.

I called up to Joe to setup an estimate/assessment, and he was over at my place in just a few days. He was very courteous and took the time to ultimately provide 2 options, which I really appreciated: Try to "push everything" back into the wall and do a superficial patch up job (the cheapo option), or do it proper, tear down the old wall, and re-plaster it. I chose the latter option as I want my condo to be able to withstand a home inspection.
In any case, once I got something on the books, Joe and his team came over a few days later and started working immediately. These guys do not waste time or mess around. I left to go to the work for the day, and while I was away Joe let me know that the wall came out great. I just got home now and not surprisingly, the new wall is perfect.. He and his crew are true professionals and I still can't believe how quickly everything was turned around, between me making the request and the wall finally getting repaired. If I ever have plastering/wall issues again, Joe will be my first and only call.

On time, on budget, good cleanup.

I called for an estimate. I gave him the dimensions of the room and he gave the estimate over the phone. I was a little skeptical of this but his quote was on target with other estimates that I had gotten. We established a date for the work to be done and he said they would be there at 7. They showed up on time and the crew of three guys banged it out in no time to a perfect smooth finish. I should say that the room was not square, plumb or level. It was not easy I'm sure to do such a great job as I overheard one of them saying "well, there is nothing we can't do". They had good attitudes and the room looks awesome now.

Joe came and described what he would have to do to repair the damage and gave me an estimate. He returned on the day he said he would at the exact time,put down plastic to cover furniture and did a great job. I would not hesitate to call him again.

Experience was wonderful.  If only all contractors were as easy to work
with.  Showed up for estimate exactly as promised.  Started work 3 days
later and finished it the next.  Perfect job.  Both my carpenter and
painter noted the quality of the work.  Given all the rave reviews
Liberty has on this list, I expected to pay more but Liberty was also
the lowest quote I received.  Great guy.  Great work
