Gene Williams and an assistant showed up on time and then diligently went through all rooms in the house. They pointed out all the air leaks they found and took thermal photos of all problem areas in the walls with insufficient insulation. I did learn about unexpected insulation issues I was not aware off. While going through the rooms, they gave me instructions for how to fix some of the issues myself and answered any questions I had. They also made suggestions what the most worthwhile energy efficiency improvements would be. At the end of the audit, I was very pleased with the time they took to check on everything and answer my questions. However, the followup was very disappointing. Gene came by in person (much later than promised) to hand me the audit report and discuss work they could be doing for me to improve attic insulation (they have an associated contracting company called "Eagle Contracting"). There were print quality issues with the report and Gene promised to send me a copy in email. This never happened. He did not bring along the thermal images as promised. An associate of his who came by later to look at the roof also did not bring the photos as promised. A reminder email to Gene received no response. A phone call to his associate ended with a promise of sending me the photos. To this day (mid May) I have not received either the photos or the report in electronic form.

He advised the work done previously by the insulation company was done improperly. The insulation was not blown in all areas and the windows are drafty. The caulk was poorly done. He said he would provide pictures on a disc so I could show the company who did the original work. He did provide a disc, but they were the incorrect pictures, actually from other homes. He came back and took more pictures and also would provide report. I have emailed him to get the information, but he still has not provided the disc or report or even responded.
