Our yard is a very difficult yard. After 4 years of trying to maintain it on our own (and failing), we reached out to Boston Landscape Co. Now,  our yard is beautiful! Sometimes they're overbooked and don't make it when we expect them too, but usually come within the week. Good pricing, and great job when they come!

It's went great. Very detail oriented and professional.

WeWe called four or five companies for estimates. We read and researched all the compnies and Boston landscape came though with solid reviews. We made the appointment for an estimate for plants, new topsoil, grass, ( sod) and removal of the yews.
It was a shock when they finished the first day! The yews had been there for years and now gone;  the locations showed open space under the windows! They followed up the next day by adding new soil and started to add the rows of grass sod. Of course  parts of the rows didn?t make it; but they were replaced very quickly.
 By the end of the day all the grass was laid, all the plants were planted,  - it was like a new front of the house! The new lawn coupled with the decortative masonry wall  : WOW ! 
 I like to think I plan the entire project though. I plan for opps and small mistakes that alway happen.  I admit I didn?t plan how the front of my house looks today. We have received countless comments on what we accomplished. I never bothered to tell them I took the recommendations of Boston Landscaping !!! 
I would recommend them to your home or business. They come in and leave quickly?..leavin you to receive all the compliments.

What a transformation!! Boston Landscape took our tired looking front yard and made it into a lovely English garden! Steve understood what our vision was and helped us pick flowers and greens that would compliment each other. The staff worked quickly and confidently and was able to complete the job in just one day! Boston Landscape did an amazing job and we would highly recommend them!

After having used this company for a couple years with good results and especially good responsiveness, this time things really fell apart. The work was finally done, and quite well, but I spent nearly a month chasing Steve down. Here is a recap:
October 22/23/12 - called office and left message to request yard cleanup.
October 25/26 - office left me a message saying Steve would be out to do the work  "next week".
October 29/30 - big storm with lots of damage in a wide area (trees down, etc.)
November 2 - I called to see how much the urgent storm-related work for other customers would affect the completion of my job.
November 5 - Office left me a message saying my work would be done by the end of the week (Saturday, November 10). The message stated I could call back  if I wanted to.
November 8 - I decided to call back since he hadn't come and I worried that not calling would be interpreted as lack of interest. Talked to Steve. We discussed the job and he told me the price. He told me "early next week" the job would be done.
November 13 (Monday)
November 16 (Thursday) - I called, admittedly quite upset as it was now late in the week, and was told that [he] "didn't know I was in such a rush." It had now been over 3 weeks and most of my leaves were in other people's yards. I didn't consider that being upset over a wait of  3 weeks or more constituted "being in a rush".

Steve and his crew were incredible.  He was flexible in coming out to give a quote right after I had called inquiring about his service.  After walking the grounds and giving some recommendations we settled on the spring clean up and mulching.  He followed up immediately with a very fair quote for the scope of the work.  His crew came and worked non stop.  They were all polite and worked hard the whole time.  My yard looks the best it has since we bought our house.  I highly recommend Boston Landscape Co for all services.  We have already went ahead and schedule fertilizing as well.  Great service, great price, great people.

They were very quick in doing it which was appreciated.

Boston Landscape arrived on time and completed the job very quickly. They brought all the fall clean up equipment to remove all the leaves and the lawn looks perfect.
My wife and I hired Boston Landscape Co in August 2005 to replace our front lawn and to provide us with lawn maintenance services such as spring and fall clean ups, weekly lawn mowing and mulching. Boston Landscape has been handling our landscaping needs ever since and they continue to do an outstanding job.

...Steve was very responsive to all and any calles/ e mails.  His men were very good and completed the work in short order.
The front of the house looks great and have had lots of compliments on his work.

Steve is a super nice guy to deal with. He arrived for the initial consultation on time and brainstormed with me about what I could expect to get done within my budget. We also talked about ideas for future larger projects. Steve looked at the trees and shrubs on my lot and mentioned that I have a problem brewing that would require remediation by a tree specialist. He also noticed the carpenter ants around the property and advised me to get an exterminator. Steve and his crew arrived on the scheduled day to begin the work. He had asked me to leave 1/2 of the money, which I did. I was so amazed when I returned home from work that evening to see the total transformation in my yard! It looked jaw-droppimgly different and infinitely better than it had when I left for work that morning! I emailed Steve to thank him and he replied that they would be back a few days later to trim the large Japanes maple. To be honest, I didn't even notice that it wasn't done. But Steve and his crew came back and finished the job. I am still immensely pleased with yard each time I drive up the road. Now I just need to save a little more money and hire Steve back for a few other projects I would like to tackle! I can't wait to work with Steve again!

We had massively overgrown bushes that took up over half of the front yard. Steve and his crew came in and removed everything and grinded up the stumps in 1 day. Very impressed with how quickly they worked and how much better the yard looked afterwards.
We next worked with Steve's Landscape designer, Ginny and she came up with a beautiful design. Both Steve and Ginny were able to work with our modest budget and still create a design that we love. We definitely don't feel that we are missing anything.
I got a few estimates on both the shrub removal and landscape installation. Boston Landscape was similarly priced to other (well reviewed) landscapers but he was the only one who responded quickly and seemed very willing to work with our budget; giving us advice on doing the installation in multiple phases, purchasing plants in late summer/early fall. I really appreciated his desire to want to work with us and understanding our budget limitations. Plus his work is beautiful and his crew is exceptionally nice. We will definitely be using him again!

 For years, the yard was my joy! I always took time and patience to grow the perennials and different plants. But once we  had the masonry work completed it was beyond me. There were stones, dust, the lawn dead in spots, grown like craxy in others. IT WAS A DISASTER!
   Boston Landscaping showed up on time with at least 4 guys and all sorts of equipment. Steve reviewed what we wanted and gave the ok. Then it happened! My entire front yard was getting ripped up.  I just stood there and watched - just slowly shakin my head.
   But when they finished - the sod, the plants, the perennials - the WOW factor came into play. All along Steve kept telling to 'see' how everything would look; I just didn't.
   Now I stand in front of the house and receive all sorts of compliments. It is unbelievable!  My house has changed completely!
   Steve came picked up his cheek , shook hands and we both admired the job. I then spoke to him  about a couple of saplings.
                                                     BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!
  Somehow a fire truck had to park and drive over the brand new lawn leaving a huge mess. I called Boston asking for assistance what to do. The next day Steve sent down a guy who came with sod and repaired the mess.  A simple phone call did all this!!!!
  Yeah, if you think I'm happy with Boston - you guessed correctly !!!!!!!

We worked with Steve from Boston Landscape Company directly.  He was very professional and friendly from our initial consultation/quote to getting the services delivered.  He came to our house and was able to give us an estimate to fix our brick staircase as well as get the yard cleaned up.  He delivered the quote via email within a few business days and at that time we accepted the quote and hired his company for services.  The mason he sent to fix our stairs did a fantastic job!  They came out amazing and so much better than we could have hoped.  The mason really paid close attention to detail to make sure the job was done right.  We felt we got more than our money's worth on that job.
Steve also sent a separate group for the yard clean up.  They came and cleaned up all of the leaves/fall debris in a few short hours.  We did get a bit concerned when they left a huge pile of leaves in the street next to our yard on a Friday night.  We weren't sure if they were coming back the next day to finish the job.  They did indeed show up on Saturday morning and picked up the rest of the leaves.  
Overall we were very pleased with the services provided by Steve's company.  We hope to hire him again in the near future.

Steve and his team were excellent to work with.  They were prompt, very hard-working, responsive to our questions and concerns, and thorough from start to finish.  Steve's first visit with us was to discuss what we wanted done.  He listened to us and gave us his recommendations.  He priced out everything separately as we asked and did not give us any problems when we had to cut some items from the list due to the cost.  He worked with us with regards to the price and, although it was still a lot of money, he came down to within the same ballpark as the other landscapers we had price the job. 
We chose Steve for the job because he was willing to work with us, we felt he was being honest with us, and we could tell he knew what he was talking about.  He and his team did not disappoint on any level.  They arrived when they said they would, they put in a full day's work and they cleaned up at the end of each day.  We have had many complements on our much improved curb appeal. 
    
The company he used to install the sprinkler system were excellent as well.  Until the system is running for a bit, you don't know what kinks may still exist.  Whenever we called, they called back immediately and were out very quickly to check out the problem.  After a few adjustments, the sprinkler system ran perfectly.  They just recently came back to blow out the system for the winter. 
After the positive experience we had with Steve and his crew, we decided to have them take care of the property throughout the season and they have done a good job on that as well.  We still have some patchy grass issues but that isn't through any fault of Steve's, and he has been working to correct the situation.
We highly recommended Boston Landscaping.

Steve, the owner, was professional, prompt and attentive from the initial consultation through the last day of work.  He visited the site several times while the work was in progress to personally oversee the job. The heavy rains caused the work to be delayed several times, but Steve always made sure to explain how they would work around it (great communication). The crew for the landscaping and the walkway/patio were all really nice, courteous and cleaned up really well - and they also asked questions to  confirm what was to be done rather than have to fix mistakes after the fact. We'll likely have more work to do in the spring and Boston Landscaping will be the first ones I call.

It went very well. They were quick and did great work. We had no complaints and would use them again.

Was very impressed. Out of the dozen people I called to get quotes, he was one of only 3 that even called me back. Of those 3 he was the only one even willing to do the work. Couldn't believe how hard it was to get someone to mow a lawn for a one time deal. We had unfortunately just been too busy to keep up with it.  But Steven called me right back, was kind and professional. The 2 young men who came to do the work were also polite, friendly and professional. They did a wonderful job on the lawn and the clean up after. I would absolutely hire them again if I need landscaping services again. Just recommended them to a family member. I gave a B on the price cause I thought it was a little high, but I really wasn't able to price anyone else out. With the ease of getting them to do the work and how easy it was to deal with them it was truly worth the money. No regrets!

I am delighted with the work. When they accidentally put a flower bed in an area where we had wanted grass, they promptly fixed it to be the way we wanted it.
Their mason did a marvelous job with the step, too. I had been worried that the depth wouldn't match the other stairs, but he made it work, and it looks great and is much safer than the old, crumbling one we had before.
My neighbor came up to me when they were done and told me how wonderful the yard looks.
I highly recommend this company!!!  Would use them again any day.

Steve was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end and we have now decided to have additional work done as a result. He returned my phone call in a prompt manner, was courteous and acted with a sense of urgency to address all of our concerns. Steve came up with great ideas different from what we had in mind from the design to the different types of plants/bushes that would work well and it looks fantastic! He met all of his deadlines that were set. His prices were fair. We have had many positive comments from our neighbors about the new look of our yard and about how efficient the project was. Steve kept an open line of communication throughout the entire process. Although the first phase of our project has been completed, Steve continues to followup with us about our new landscape and proper maintenance to protect our investment. Not only is Steve a pleasure to work with, but he clearly sets the example for his staff from his assistant to his laborers who were also friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. I will continue to use Steve for any landscaping needs I have and I will refer him to any and all contacts that inquire about landscaping services.

I have a fairly large yard, so they charge me $400 for mowing and blowing the leaves.  This is the third year I have used them.  The first time, I was just looking because I was a little late in the season and everybody was already booked.  So, I was willing to use anyone and I was very pleased with their work.  The first two years they were very responsive, however, this year I did have trouble getting them to call me back.  I would use them in the future.

My wife and I bought a house last year that needed a lot of work in the yard - we had more weeds than grass, tons of poison ivy and generally over grown plants that needed to be removed or trimmed.  Steve from Boston Landscape Co. came in the spring worked with us to create a really nice lawn and look for the house with new shrubs and trees which they planted.  Their work is highly professional and I recommend them to my friends.

I liked the work they did so much  that I had them come in and install a patio in the backyard.  The patio is beautiful and the work they did to incorporate it into the surroundings is phenomenal.  They even surrounded the patio with beautiful mulch so everything looks stunning.
