Did an excellent job-very thorough, very knowledgeable about mold/mildew, very prompt, very professional. We had used another Mold Remediation company before Vanguard & they did an incomplete & poor quality job. Vanguard was excellent. Would use them again & recommend them to everyone I know.

The representative that showed up at our house was friendly, punctual and performed a thorough inspection. He told me what the cost would be, and I must have winced at the price he quoted me. I asked if there was any way the price could be reduced. He looked at me, and told me that was the cost to do the job. I waited for a proposal. When it didn't come, I called the office, and explained to the owner that I hadn't received a formal proposal, and my hope that there might be a way to get the price reduced. She said she would have the rep contact me which he didn't. I ended up engaging another firm who performed the mold remediation work for thirty percent less than what the Vanguard rep quoted me.

My only critique was that they were over an hour late on the first day. Other then that, I am very happy with the work which was done. The removed the problem and cleaned up after themselves.

I was completely satisfied with the work done. This company was very knowledgeable, easy to work with and completed the work in a timely fashion. On the negative side - a very small window fan was installed to control humidity but after less than six months, it began to short out. I called Keith, the owner of the company who said he would come over and take care of the situation immediately. Well, (NINE) 9 phone calls and TEN (10) weeks later, he still had not come to assess the problem. Every time I called he had an excuse - he was busy, he was short-handed...or he said he would call next week to make an appointment (never did); he couldn't get the part; then he told me the part had already come in and he would call at the end of the week to come over to replace the fan (never did)..., etc., etc.. Please remember we are talking about a very very small window fan that would have taken not even a hour to replace. I eventually had an electrician come over to fix the short in the fan and am considering using small claims court to settle the matter. I will not use this company again as I would not trust them to follow through on problems. A bad ending to what had been a good beginning.
