Mark came over to give us some idea and an estimate. Within that week he began working on the project. He worked an average of 40 hours per week over several weeks. Due to the high heat and humidity, there were days that he worked only a few hours because paint and finishes took a very long time to dry between coats. Of course he only charge for the time he was present.

He comes in promptly. They never stop work. They work straight through the day. They are very clean and neat. They are very fair and polite. I couldn't be happier with them. He's my go to guy.

Mark was great to work with from the first time I called him to his last day. Charges by hour which can seem scary at first, but he arrived every day at exactly 8am and worked straight through for 8 hours without taking any extended breaks. He works very fast and with any project there are going to be things that don't go as planned, but Mark has a ton of experience and solved all of them.
Very happy with my experience with him.

I interviewed several perspective builders/remodelers. BY FAR, Mark Gould was the MOST responsive, co-operative and interactive in terms of helping us finalize our plan. He presented very fair pricing and it's clear that he has built much of his business on referrals; he works so well with the client and the quality of the work speaks for itself.
When he says he'll be there at 8, he is there ready to jump in working at 8 and works quickly and efficiently. His oft-partner Brian worked with him on the job. Both are very professional, experienced, friendly and willing to work with the client to ensure expectations are not only met, but exceeded.
I hired Gould's Building and Remodeling to remove a 3' wide window and install a 4' French door and to build an adjoining deck. The door installation involved removing siding, cutting the wall, replacing the header and adding an 8x10 deck. The ENTIRE job was completed in two and a half days! In fairness to this team and their incredible efficiency, the job would have been finished in 2 days, but I made a change part way through that required different material. The change came about from a miscommunication between my husband and myself, but when I talked to Mark about it he took it in stride, explained what he needed to do and then just did it. Several times during the process he asked me to come out and look at the work to make sure I was satisfied or to give me an options for proceeding.
I covered everything in the room with tarps expecting that there would be a lot of dust, etc from cutting the opening. In retrospect I don't think I would have had to do any prep at all. Mark and Brian were incredibly neat and left the job site (inside and out) immaculate .I found Mark incredibly flexible and very, very easy to work with from beginning to end. His price was very reasonable and the quality of work is top notch!
From professional qualifications to work ethic, personality, willingness to work with and genuine desire/ ability to please the client, Gould's Building and Remodeling was a GREAT find. Not only would I hire him again......I already did!
