He did what he said he was gonna do and he was there when he said he was gonna be there. He is a very personable individual, very friendly and his workers were good.

We did not have a written agreement as to the amount of top soil in inches that would be replaced. Bad mistake! Since we have nothing in writing, we are stuck with a lousy lawn due to insufficient topsoil and poor leveling. We have low spots and high spots; spots with grass and spots without grass. The owner called 2 weeks after the completion of the job asking where his money was. He wasn't very polite about it either. I said we weren't happy with the job and were considering options. This annoyed him. We sent a letter with a check for all but $500, explaining what we thought were deficiencies in the job and asking if he would meet with us to consider options. He refused, was verbally abusive, and said he would put a lien on our house and take us to small claims court. That didn't intimidate us, as he hoped it would, but we realized we had nothing in writing (our fault). According to our neighbors, he appeared on our property one night when we were out, and was speaking loudly and swearing into the phone. This both frightened and disturbed our neighbors. It made us angry. We eventually sent the other $500 and told him not to set foot on our lawn again. Bad experinece experience all around!
